"Alright, everyone, get over here! Come on, come on." Coach rushes as I walk out of the locker room wearing a white t-shirt and some black shorts.

I follow behind Scott as everyone surrounds the rock climbing wall. I suddenly feel a hand entangle mine, making me turn my head to see a smiling Allison.

"Okay, today we're going to be climbing the rock wall. If you make it to the top first, congrats you've won nothing. You're gonna be attached to a harness to prevent anyone from falling, especially after last year." Coach trails off.

"Anyways, first up is...Walker and Allison!"

Allison lets go of my hand as we walk onto the mat and attach the safety lines around our waists. Allison gives me a wink before Coach motions for us to start.

Allison is immediately ahead, leaving me to catch up. I focus on my hands and feet, being careful not to mess up. I quickly look up noticing Allison watching me with a smirk on her face.

"What are you doing?"

"I was waiting for you.You looked like you were struggling."

"Well, maybe, I..." An idea enters my head followed by a smirk.

"Maybe I was just admiring the view." I comment as my eyes go somewhere else.

"Oh really? Try admiring from afar." She counters before yanking herself up and climbing faster.

I begin to panic, not wanting her to win, when something inside of me just snaps. I don't think as my body takes over and I begin to climb with ease, using my legs as momentum, leaping up and eventually passing Allison, beating her to the top.

Breathless, her face turns to one of confusion when she reaches me.

"How did you get ahead of me?"

Smiling victoriously, I shrug. "I climbed."

I could tell she was impressed but that quickly turns to annoyance as she kicks my foot, making me lose my grip. The rope whips loose and I plummet, but before I hit the ground the line tightens, making me grunt. It's not over though as I drop again, this time landing on the mat with a loud thud, causing me to wince as everyone starts laughing. I can hear Coach's malicious laugh over all the others as he leans over me.

"You know, Walker, things like this make waking up in the morning worth it."

Coach then turns back to the class as I get up. "Alright, next two. Stilinski, Erica, let's go."

I get up as Allison rappels down the wall, both of us unhooking our harnesses as she begins to apologize, well, tries to apologize.

"Wesley, I am so sorry." Allison says, but she can't help but laugh.

"Yeah, yeah. You're lucky I like you." I retort as I hand Stiles the harness.

Allison and I stand next to Scott as we watch Stiles ascend the wall like he'd done it a million times, but Erica however, seems to be really struggling. I was friends with her in middle school but I guess we just grew apart, which makes me feel bad. I know she has a hard time with her seizures, especially when everyone makes fun of her for it. People are assholes.

Stiles rappels back down to the mats and holds up his arms in victory, but he stops as Erica starts to hyperventilate. Myself and everyone else begin to walk closer to the wall.

"Erica?" Coach starts. "You okay? Dizzy? Is it vertigo?"

"Vertigo's a dysfunction of the vestibular system of the inner ear. She's just freaking out." Lydia corrects.
