Selin's P.O.V
I went inside the classroom and was greeted by my friends. Xiaying went up to me and said, "Selin, can Shiwen use the photos you took when we had a party?"
"A party?"
"Yeah," Shiwen butted in and mumbled a good morning. "The ones from the music festival."
"Oh, that! You're going to make another journal spread, huh?"
"At some point, yeah." She chuckled. "But at some other point, it's for the journalism club. I'm going to write a journal about it as I was tasked to do so."
"I see!" I walked to my desk so that I can put down my bag and fished out my phone. After that, I sent the photos to her. "It's already been sent!"
"Thank you!"
I turned off my phone and put it back in my bag before getting my pencil case and sketchbook to practice drawing. Minutes later, I flinched when I heard a voice behind me saying, "The head isn't proportional."
I looked back and saw Yaxuan standing behind me with his bag in his hand. "Oh, good morning, Yaxuan."
"Good morning, except to your drawing." He grinned and hung his bag on the hook of his desk. "The nose is too small."
"It is?" I asked and looked back at my drawing. "But it looks fine."
He went nearer to me and held my hand, which was holding the pencil. "Start with a base." He said as he elegantly drew the base of the face. "Then work out with the facial features. Like this." He mumbled while continuing to draw.
I don't know where to focus. His face was so near. I can clearly hear his voice. His hand was holding mine. His breath smells like mint. I couldn't help but watch him instead of the drawing. His features were so perfect, I could stare at his face forever.
"Wow, it looks so cool." I said in awe after he was done drawing. I realized that the girl he drew was also wearing a half ponytail like me. "Eh, this is my hairstyle today."
"It looks cute." He said, looking at me. We stared at each other for a moment before he looked away, blushing and clearing his throat.
The teacher then came in after a few minutes and started the lecture. Lunch time came after a few classes and I didn't bother going to the cafeteria to eat. I have my lunch box with me. I took it out and began eating on my desk.
'I wonder what Alex is doing. He barely chats me nowadays.' I thought as I slowly took a bite of rice. Yaxuan then came in but I was too busy thinking about Alex. I chewed slowly on my food as I sighed. 'Maybe I should message him today after class.'
"You look troubled." Yaxuan said as he walked past me to take a seat. "What's the matter?"
I looked back to him and said, "Nothing."
"Hey, mind turning your desk to face me?" He asked.
I shook my head and stood up. I turned my desk and collided it with his. You know what you see in dramas. I sat down and continued eating my lunch while checking my phone. I opened Weibo and just scrolled through posts.
