I got in as discreetly as possible and went upstairs. I got my bloody shirt off and changed the bandages on my wounds. I decided I would put more bandages on my arms to pretend I still had my stitches.

I went and checked my phone. Braylon hadn't answered yet. I sighed sadly and looked around the house. Where was Jenna?

"Jenna?"
No answer.
I walked into the dining room and saw her passed out with her head on the table. I approached her and nudged her gently.

"Jen?"

"Hmm?"

"Do you want me to make some coffee?"

"Coffee sounds amazing." She mumbled. She lifted her head from the and rubbed her eyes. I started making the coffee as she continued to read whatever was on the papers. I set her mug on the table and began sipping my coffee. I checked my phone again, just to make sure he hadn't sent anything yet, even though I had done that less than ten minutes ago. Still nothing. I frowned slightly.

"Are you expecting a text from someone? A boy from school?" She asked, smirking.

"No. I'm just waiting for (bro/name) to answer me. I guess he must be busy or something." I said, trying to sound casual, although disappointment was etched into my face.

"Hey, he's going to answer sometime." She said, patting my back.

"Yeah, you're right. I just had a very crappy day so far." I said, running my fingers through my hair.

"I'm here for you okay? Look, I know I'm not a "mom" and I'm not a great sister either, but I'm always going to do anything to help you, and I would never, ever abandon you. Even if you killed someone, I'd probably be the one helping you hide the body, because we are family. We're in this together okay? So if you need something, anything, especially if it's someone to talk to, no matter where I am, or what I'm doing, talk to me, because you will always come first on my priorities list. And I can't bear seeing you sad. When you got run over all I could think about was how I wasn't even here to help you and how I hated the thought of you being hurt. "

I felt tears stinging my eyes and hugged Jenna.

"Thanks, Jenna. I love you so much." We stayed hugging when a buzz from my phone interrupted us.

Jenna picked it up and started reading the text aloud.

"Hey, Y/N, this is Stiles. See you at 7?" Jenna was smirking uncontrollably. I got the phone and smiled back at her. She raised her eyebrows at me.

"He's just a friend."

"Okay... I never said he wasn't." She said, her smirk growing. Suddenly I noticed something on her finger.

"Wait. Wha- Is that a ring? Why didn't you tell me?"

"You never asked."
I rolled my eyes. Yes, she had gotten that from me.
