I opened the door to Derek's and came face to face with the whole Mystic Falls bunch. I walked towards them slowly, instinctively grabbing Liam's hand.
"What are you all doing here?" I asked, not too politely.
"We need to talk to you. Alone." Bonnie indicated Liam. He was about to leave but I didn't let go of his hand.
"No, Liam stays. I don't trust you. I don't trust any of you."
"That's fair." Matt pointed out quietly.
"Fine. He can stay." Stefan gave in.
"But, if he breathes a word to anyone, I'll break his little neck before he can get the first syllables out," Damon said, smiling. Liam tensed up beside me.
"If you want you can leave," I told him. I wasn't going to force him to put his own life in danger.
"No, no. I'll stay. I want to." He gave my hand a slight squeeze and I nodded to Damon. Jeremy finally spoke, looking at Liam.
"Listen up here, if you ruin this-"
"Put the damn crossbow down Pocahontas," Damon said, impatiently.
"Okay, let's stop with the threats. Just get on with it." I insisted.
"Fine. We need your help." I wondered what they could have the courage to ask me.
"What? Bonnie, tell me." I asked, urging them to speak. They had all become very uncomfortable and they kept looking at each other to see who should talk. Finally, Stefan spoke.
"Well, we need your help. We need to put someone in a prison world."
"Who?" I asked, hoping they wouldn't say 'Kai'.
"Someone very evil," Jeremy reassured me.
"Just say it already," I told them. "Someone called Malachai Parker-"
"What? Sorry, no. Kai is my friend."
Bonnie shook her head.
"Y/N, you have to understand that Kai doesn't have friends." I rolled my eyes.
"Oh really? Well, he sure was a better friend than most of you." I told them.
"Y/N let's go-" Liam started, but he got cut off by Damon pinning him to the wall by his neck. Liam's eyes turned gold and he snarled at Damon, who let him go.
"Whoa, easy there puppy. Didn't know you were a werewolf." Liam looked at Damon very angrily. "Listen, you should treat your girlfriend's parents with a little more-" I cut Damon off by shoving him to the side. I looked at them angrily.
"I'm not going to help you two put Kai back in the prison world," I told them. They seemed to be very uncomfortable.
