*Still Liam's POV*
"So, are you two... a thing?" Corey voiced everyone's question.
"We're getting engaged if she says yes," Kai said, wrapping his arms around her.
"Oh. Wow." Lydia said, clearly as shocked as the rest of us.
"He's joking. I'm not even sure he's my friend." Y/N said, unamused.
I let out a small breath I didn't know I was holding. It was then that I noticed I was a bit jealous.
"Yeah. We would kill for each other though." Kai said.
"So, aren't you the one we called that day? Like yesterday?" Stiles asked.
"Oh, I thought that was a joke. Actually I didn't really care that much," Kai confessed and sat down with us. Y/N made sure to push him before he could sit down and took his seat.
"Who ran you over again?" Kai asked.
"He did." Stiles pointed at Scott.
"But she's okay because she turned into a werewolf," Scott reassured him.
"Oh yeah, about that. Turns out I didn't. The bite came back." She said, casually.
Everyone tensed up.
"Oh, yeah. That means you're going to die," Malia said, just as calmly as Y/N had been.
"Whoa, be more delicate!" Kai said. "But she is right." He added as an afterthought.
"I don't feel like I'm dying, so I'm not going to panic," Y/N said. I hugged her from the side and she hugged back.
"So, I have a big announcement to make Y/N. I might help you, to not die." Kai said, taking a piece of pizza.
"Okay, if you could that would be awesome."
"Okay, here." He placed his hand over her wound and pressed. She hissed because of the pain. There was an orange glow coming from his hand. Approximately one minute later he removed his hand.
"Done."
"Okay what? Just like that?" Stiles asked.
"Yeah, I sucked out the magic from the bite. There you go." The bite healed without leaving a scar.
"Shame though. You were going to be turned by the scratch and by the bite. That would have been awesome." Kai pointed out, disappointed.
"Or, I would just die, so I see this as a win-win." She said.
We continued eating our pizza until Kai spoke again.
"Oh, bad news. My brother Luke passed away." Kai said in an emotionless tone. Y/N got up and dragged Kai away.
"We're going to follow them right?" Mason asked.
"Yeah!" Stiles exclaimed and very discretely watched them disappear through the doors, then got up and motioned for us to follow. I got up, along with a Scott, Mason, Corey and Malia.
