-Mystic Falls

_3rd Person POV_

Y/N L/N woke up with a slight jump, the alarm clock beeping way too loud. She was still pretty tired. Especially since she had these nightmares that kept her awake at night. They were always the same. A British accent telling her something, probably how to escape, but it seemed to be in a different language, as she couldn't understand what the voice was saying, while she felt like she was locked in a metal box. And the box was filling with water, drowning her. But the voice seemed very familiar, like someone, she had known a long time ago...

She had had those nightmares for as long as she could remember, but didn't have the courage to ask her parents,  fearing that they would loathe her more than they already did.
Her parents, (Mother/Name) L/N and (Father/Name) L/N had told her that they had never wanted a daughter. They wanted another son, who could play lacrosse like her older brother, (brother/name).
They had tried putting her in lacrosse lessons when she was eight years old when they decided they weren't able to teach her, but she still wasn't able to learn.

Soon, due to all the pressure, she was in because of her team, her parents, her brother and her coach, she started having emotional breakdowns and explosive fights with everyone around her, which resulted in her getting kicked off the team after breaking her teammate's leg and nose during one of those fights.

Her parents had locked her in her room for a week after that, which did nothing to help her anger issues, so when she went to school the ended up in another fight with a boy and a police officer had to get in the middle to intervene. With that, she ended up punching the police officer, which ended up giving her a criminal record.

With that, they took her to the psychiatrist, and they labelled it Intermittent Explosive Disorder. They gave her the prescription, but the pills seemed to only make her anger worse, and it made her too tired, so she had to drop the medication.

Her aunt, Jenna, who lived with her two other cousins,  put her in soccer lessons, and her parents weren't at all pleased with this, although the activity helped her waste her energy, and ended up helping her control her anger.

Eventually, her parents said they wanted nothing to do with her, so her aunt took her in.

She knew that lacrosse wasn't the only reason her parents despised her, but she didn't know what else it could be.

Her psychologist said she had to distract herself from the fact that her parents abandoned her, so her aunt enrolled her in a bunch of extra classes such as self-defence, to try and distract her.

She lived with her aunt and her two other cousins since she was thirteen years old, and they had moved to Mystic Falls a little while later, and that was were Jenna lived with her nephew Jeremy and her niece, Elena. Both her cousins also despised her, for some unknown reason, (Jeremy slightly less) and refused to even be in the same room as her, so she was forced to spend a lot of her spare time just roaming the streets.
