I looked at him horrified.

"Who killed her?" I asked.

"I didn't want to, but she was just the most annoying person in the world." I rolled my eyes.

"I don't have time for your stupid jokes Damon!" I said angrily, shoving him away, or better, attempting to. I went into the living room and saw Bonnie sitting on the couch.

"Bonnie, I need your help!" I said urgently.

"I need you to do a locator spell, and I need you to do it now," Bonnie didn't ask any questions.

"Who are you looking for?" She asked.

"Would you still do it if I said 'Katherine'?" I asked uncertainly. Everyone stared at me.

"That's not all, we're going to have to bring Kai back."
Everyone looked at me incredulously.

"No, no, no, no! Have I mentioned no?" Damon said, shaking his head.

"At least let me talk to him," I pleaded.

"NO! Kai should be left there forever and no one should ever try to talk to him again. While he is still isolated, I can pretend he is dead." Damon said, raising his bourbon. I turned to Bonnie.

"Please let me talk to him," I pleaded. She sighed and took my hands.

After a long time of Bonnie chanting, I opened my eyes. I was in a room. I blinked a few times. I noticed when I shut my eyes I was back at  It was small and had a set of bunk beds. There was a baseball bat on the floor that instantly reminded me of Stiles. I looked in the closet and saw that there were clothes. I figured they had been Josette and Kai's. So this is where I was. I went slowly down the stairs, looking at the dusty walls.

I looked at the fireplace and saw pictures. I approached one of the pictures and wiped off some of the dust from the frame. It was a family picture of presumably Kai's family. I started searching for Kai in the picture, but he wasn't in it. Then I spotted him. A child, sitting in the corner of the room, isolated from the rest of the family. I examined the picture next to it, that had Kai and Jo smiling. Kai's smile was obviously fake judging by his tightly balled fist. Suddenly I felt something cold on the back of my head.

"You have five seconds to give me a good reason to not shoot you for being useless," A familiar voice behind me said.

"I don't know what to tell you," I said, turning around. Kai dropped his gun and stared at me for a few seconds, completely paralyzed. But those seconds passed and he grabbed my neck and I felt the back of my head slam against the wall.

"You left me here. Why did you come here? To say sorry?" I was losing oxygen and I was trying desperately to touch my toes on the ground, but Kai was taller as well as stronger than me.

"Why can't I siphon your magic?" He asked, letting go. I fell and gasped for air.

"That's because I'm human," I told him angrily. He looked confused.

"How did you get here?" He asked.

"I'm getting you out of here," I told him. He nodded and looked at me sceptically.

"While still being human?" He inquired.

"That is why I am getting you out of here," I told him. I closed my eyes to see if Bonnie was chanting something, suddenly I saw Jeremy whisper something in her ear. Suddenly Bonnie opened her eyes and I did as well. I tried closing them again, but all I could see was darkness. Now I was trapped here too.
