I sank against the door, all the way to the ground. A small smile was on my lips. He kissed me. I brought my hand up to touch them, I closed my eyes. He kissed me. Jared Kleinman, the most beautiful human to ever walk this planet, just kissed me. The love of my life, had kissed me. He liked me. Maybe he even loved me the way I love him.
My eyes jolted open.
He kissed me, and I was sitting here against the door, after shutting him out.
I ran up stairs, fixed my hair, washed my face and applied some makeup under my eyes, changed clothes, put on shoes and ran down stairs. I opened the door, but he was no longer there.
Shit.
I ran as fast as I could around the house. He wasn't anywhere to be found. His car wasn't there. His house wasn't that far from mine. I didn't have a car, so I ran. I ran as fast as I could. With each time my foot hit the ground, another thought entered my mind. Get to him. Find him. Help him. Save him. Love him.
By the time I reached his door, my heart was pounding so hard I could hear it. I couldn't breathe, and my legs were weak. I reached his door and pounded on it. I knocked and knocked and knocked, until a crying, shaking Jared answered. He sniffled and kept his head down when he answered, but soon he looked up. When he saw me his eyes went wide. "Evan, d-did you run here? You look like h-hell,"
I looked at him, swallowed and threw my arms around his neck. I held onto him tightly for about two seconds, and then I passed out, overcome by darkness.
