I murmured as tears began flowing down my face like a river. Hindi ko maintindihan kung saan ako nagkamali, kung saan ako nagkulang.
"I'm happier with her, sorry" he said directly looking at my face.
I smiled bitterly because of what he said "And I fucking prayed for that" I said. He was confused with what I said so I laughed sarcastically.
"I prayed for your happiness without knowing na hindi mo pala sa akin mahahanap yon" I broke down.
Without even saying anything, he started walking away. Hindi manlang niya ako nilingon kung ayos lang ba ako, and that kills me.
"I'm sorry Cassandra" lalo akong napaiyak dahil sa tinawag niya sa akin.
He never called me by that without any emotion, without any love, he never did, even once in our entire 5 years together. I wanted so bad to speak pero tanging hikbi lamang ang lumalabas sa bibig ko.
