"Kurapika! Remember how I said it was a trilogy?" the brunette asked, kneeling down next to where Kurapika was reading an educational novel. Another day had gone by, and everyone was getting for bed again.
"Yeah. Why?" the blonde asked.
"Look at this." Two pointed the book in her hands. The cover looked like the others in the series and it had the same author's name. "It had the character's names in the description."
Kurapika sat speechless as he slowly took the book out of Two's hands and skimmed through the description. "But. . . All of the problems were resolved. . . why is there more?" The pair shared a look, and then Two sat down on a pillow next to Kurapika as he opened the book to the first page. With a silent agreement in place, they started reading side by side. There were minimal problems, since they were both fast readers. After about an hour passed, Leorio threw a blanket at them and told them to go to sleep. They simply wrapped themselves in the blanket and continued to read.
A couple of hours passed, and they closed the book in sorrow and satisfaction. It was a sad ending, but at least they had the blessing of a final book. Kurapika didn't usually read stories as he tended to stick to the educational side of the spectrum, but he felt oddly drawn to this series. Two sighed and carefully put the book back on the shelf, and then laid down on her own couch.
"That was a good series."
"I agree."
Both Two and Kurapika basked in the newly-finished series, as well as the bonding that had naturally occurred between them. Without realizing it, they had become friends.
"Goodnight."
"Goodnight."
