"𝐍𝐎𝐖, 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔 sure you're okay?"  Killua pulled his face back to look the hybrid in the eye, without backing away from the hug. Hyacinth nodded giddily and quietly agreed, the softness of her voice making Killua's heart melt. He just wanted to hold her forever... But he knew he couldn't.

After a little while, the silverette headed back to his own room, thinking about what had happened with Hyacinth until the moment he fell asleep. On the other hand, the multi-colored eyed girl paced the floor of her room until she passed out on the couch. She was trying to figure out the fluttery feeling that formed in her chest when she saw Killua.

When the pair saw Gon the next morning, Killua convinced Hyacinth to confess to him in private. With an open jaw, he announced it as 'cool', which led to tears of joy from a certain brunette. She ad never felt more accepted in her life.

After training at Heavens Arena and improving their Nen for quite some time, as well as Gon accomplishing his goal of punching Hisoka, the three of them headed to Whale Island, where Gon's Aunt Mito was waiting for them to arrive. As they walked around the several parts of the island, with many shoppers and shopkeepers bustling about, Hyacinth latched onto Killua's arm with both hands and held his for safety, Fighting in a crowded arena was one thing, but she couldn't handle so many people up close.

"Oh God, there are too many people," she muttered into Killua's ear nervously, and he pat her head with his free hand, the worried look on his face making him feel bad.

"It's okay, they're not paying any attention to us, so don't worry about them. Just hold on to me."

"Guys! My house is up this route!" Gon called out, interrupting the two. Hastily, they hurried behind Gon and chatted along the way, easing away from the crowds. Once Hyacinth could think clearly, she started to wonder what Aunt Mito and Gon's grandma would be like. We're they nice? Peppy? Strict? Unconcerned? She didn't know what to expect. She wondered if they were better than her own parents.

"Up there, Gon started sprinting across the field to a large cottage on a cliff, with two figures that couldn't be made out standing by the door.

Once Gon was out of hearing range, Hyacinth spoke up. "What do you think Mito's going to be like?" she asked, turning her head to the silverette.

Killua pondered the question for a minute. "Well, Gon said she was really nice, but since he still looks up to his dad, who left him, I'm not sure what to expect."

The pair chuckled together at the joke as they approached the old, spacious house, a young woman with orange-pink hair greeting them happily.

"You two must be Killua and Hyacinth!" she exclaimed, and Gon popped his head out the door from the inside. "Gon's wrote a lot about you two in his letters."

Both of them were a bit awkward with adults, but Hyacinth brushed that off as she get go of Killua's arm to wave hello. Happily ushering them inside the house, starting at the kitchen. "Aunt Mito, don't tell them about my letters! It's embarrassing..."

Nevertheless, Mito brushed it off, with a defeated Gon gloomily lowering his shoulders. "From what I've heard, you three get along very well! I'm glad Gon finally found some pleasant friends his own age."

"Yes, so are we." the brunette muttered quietly but truthfully.

"Sorry, could you speak up?"

"She said that we're glad too." Killua answered for her. Mito nodded happily as Gon approached the table to sit.
