"𝐇𝐌, 𝐖𝐄𝐋𝐋, 𝐈'𝐌 assuming that dresses aren't practical for being a Hunter..." Mito started, racking through the old clothes that were stored in her basement closet. Hyacinth nodded her head in agreement as she looked through the piles of bags stuffed with clothes as well. "If you see anything in those bags you like, feel free to take it, because I have nothing else to do with them."
"Thank you, Miss," she muttered, and the woman turned her head for merely a moment and winked, as if to say no worries.
Rummaging through the bags was a tad bit boring in all honesty, considering the majority of the clothes were dresses. At least they were pretty colors. The brunette's method of choosing new clothes was quite simple; put anything that wasn't a dress into her backpack, as long as it fit her. Which, to say the least, was not a lot. A white collared button-up shirt, a black turtle neck, and a pair of baggy white sweatpants.
"Oh dear..." Aunt Mito clicked her tongue after only being able to find a pair of shorts that were too big for the malnourished girl. "I forgot how many dresses I used to own, I was hoping I could give you more than this but..."
"It's perfectly okay, Miss Mito!" Hyacinth said as she looked up from the bag of clothes, frantically, but still quietly. "Really, I've gotten a lot of clothes... it was an incredibly nice gesture."
Doing something close to rolling her eyes, Aunt Mito closed the closet door and tightened her apron. "Don't be silly! You're a growing girl, you need some good clothes!"
"Oh...?" The brunette had asked, questionable. "Does being a growing girl mean I need more clothes?""Yes, darling!" Mito agreed, she had that motherly sparkle in her eyes as she helped Hyacinth off the ground and started walking up the stairs. Hyacinth was uneasy, but curious. She believed her.
"I've never had many clothes..."
"That'll change today."
It was a blur, but Aunt Mito was ready within a few minutes to head out to the marketplace. Hyacinth didn't know this yet, but they were going shopping.
"I'm tempted to just have a girls day, but Gon could use some new clothes too..." The woman muttered something inaudible under her breath, and it took Hyacinth a few second to wrap her head around everything.
Slipping her bright red tennis shoes on, the confused girl finally managed to realize that Aunt Mito wanted to go clothes shopping. "We're going out?"
Aunt Mito nodded lightly, gently placing a floppy hat onto her own head with a small smile.
"...Could we please bring the boys?"
Looking back at the frightened expression on her face, Mito could tell the girl didn't like crowds. She had already gathered that she wasn't the most sociable person out there, nor was she very vocal. Calling for the boys to come downstairs, Hyacinth quickly apologized for ruining the girls day, but Aunt Mito reassured her with a light pat on the head. She was perfectly fine, as long as she was comfortable.
"Gon, Killua, we're going to go to the marketplace to go clothes shopping." Mito chimed, and neither of the boys seemed too thrilled.
"Well, have fun-"
Killua had tried to walk away, but Aunt Mito had grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and prevented him from walking any further. "No, no, Killua, you're coming too."
"But Aunt Mito, can't we stay at home?" Gon whined, pointing to the stairs that led to his room. "We just figured out what Ging left me!"
Pushing her hatred for her cousin down, Mito got a little softer. "Dear, I know that must be awfully exciting, but Hyacinth really wants you guys to come."
A short silence ensued, but the two started to put their shoes on.
"C'mon, Gon," Killua said right after Hyacinth had nodded in agreeance to Mito. With wide eyes, the woman watched as her nephew and his friend suddenly switched attitudes, and Hyacinth held onto the white-haired boy with Gon right beside her.
"What witch-craft you just pulled on my boy, I'll never know," she stated in awe, and with a lopsided smile from Hyacinth, they were off.
