(Y/N) let out a soft shiver, holding her beige overcoat close to her person while she walked alongside Toshinori on a cold sunny day out in the city. The warmer weeks had shifted as winter break already passed, leading to the third term of school at UA soon approaching.

Along with her overcoat the (h/c) haired woman wore her favorite (f/c) long sleeve shirt, a black scarf and thick black tights to protect her legs. On her feet were matching leather boots that reached up to her mid-calf with a zipper on the side. Toshinori wore a simple thick brown coat with black slacks, wearing dark and practical shoes to accompany it. The scarf (Y/N) had adorned was his to begin with, but seeing her shiver and shake outside the man insisted she use it. Toshinori glanced over at the said woman who was warming her hands with her hot breath, walking down the sidewalk towards a favorite cafe of theirs.

Ever since befriending one another the duo loved going to this particular spot in the heart of Musutafu. The coffee and food was great there, and it wasn't too populated so Toshinori didn't have to worry about overzealous fans. It also helped that the cafe owner himself didn't care much about the retired hero's reputation.

Reaching the toasty looking cafe the blonde stepped ahead to hold the door open for the woman, moving aside to let her pass. On his way, she could smell the cologne on him the scent light and inviting.

It made her smile.

"Thank you Toshi." the hero beamed up at him, feeling a shiver run up her spine as the crisp cold of outside was replaced with content heat. The blonde said nothing as he let out a pleased sigh when he followed her inside, rubbing his hands together as he scanned for an empty table.

In the nearly empty cafe, the two companions took their seats at a couple sized table that sat against the wall by one of the large windows neighboring the entrance. (Y/N) cheesed happily, enjoying being able to let her feet rest after walking as the cafe owner emerged from behind the doors leading to the kitchen.

"Afternoon, Miss (L/N)! Mister Yagi! Will it be the usual for you both?" the friendly owner smiled kindly at his two regulars, breaking out in a bigger smile when they both nodded softly. Clasping his big hands together, the man who Toshinori and (Y/N) had grown to know as Mr. Davis disappeared back into the kitchen, humming to himself.

Mr. Davis was a stout man with bounds of salt and pepper colored hair decorating his head and face. His skin was rough looking just the same as Toshinori's hands, except that the cafe owners skin was kissed by the sun and had no visible scars on his person. He was only a few inches shorter than (Y/N's) companion which made it easier for him to fend off unruly "patrons" and keep his customers safe if need be. Mr. Davis also seemed to be the type of man who kept certain things, like this quirk, known only to himself. So for them, that part of Mr. Davis was still a secret.

Other than this he was an open book, and loved to talk about himself in the classic American way.

Like (Y/N), Mr. Davis originally was born in the United States. As a young man he grew up in the south and joined the military as soon as he turned eighteen. When he was stationed in Japan he met his future wife, settled in Musutafu with her, and had two wonderful children. In his retirement he began this cafe, and the rest is history. He loved to regularly show off pictures of his family to customers as well as having them displayed on the wall by the register.

He was proud family man and father.

He even had pictures of his customers which were hung and placed on the walls, making this homey cafe feel even more friendly and warm. There was even a picture of (Y/N) and Toshinori around somewhere, probably hung next to the displays of goodies at the front.
