"Mirai...hehe that's my hair..."

The day was bright with the sun looming over the city of Musutafu, reflecting the glow on her son's face as (Y/N) watched her baby interact with her other, unofficially adoptive son Izuku.

Inko who the (h/c) haired woman grew to know fondly of course was not the source of ill opinion over the her parenting skills or made it seem any less than what it was, but simply over time found she was like a second mother to the green haired young hero for the amount of time he spent with her and her husband. With Izuku's real father unfortunately absent in most of his life, the young hero found that the empty hole of another parental figure in his most important years were filled by his mentor Toshinori and his wife (Y/N). Not only this, the pure want to spend time with his seniors allowed the two families to share a tightly wound bond that was mildly uncommon nowadays.

The two heroes he had once grown to look up to with all of his heart and effort, were now his family beyond the ties of blood.

With baby Mirai, now only about a month young in the picture, the young hero also found that he had gained a sibling after being an only child his entire life.

The young infant with his bright golden hair growing thicker and his almost glowing heterochromia eyes gaining more life as the days passed, rested protectively in Izuku's strong arms. The two retired heroes, now full time instructors at UA watched their two boys fondly across the small square cafe table they sat near the windows showing off the city. Mirai gurgled nonsense as his miniature hands reached from beyond his warm swaddle to grasp firmly at the ends of Izuku's wild bangs.

It was mere chance that the four would meet that day as newly made parents Toshinori and (Y/N) were having their first day out with their son after his birth, the occasion leading them to their usual date place at Mr. Davis' warm and homey cafe. Not long after the couple and child arrived was when the budding hero Izuku entered the store himself, seeking out a relaxing place for his lunch break. His endeavors led him to the street where the cafe stood and when he saw his two old instructors sitting inside from the sight in the window he had to join them.

His addition to their group was welcomed kindly, and the four sat all together for a late lunch.

During the lighthearted conversing and chatting the green haired young man suddenly found himself holding his mentor's son, the mere thought itself bringing joyful tears to prick at his forest green eyes.

The years of adoration the young hero felt toward his idol, guider, and mentor suddenly resurfaced on his face for the first time forever. Since inheriting the power of One For All and perfecting his use of it, his idolization toward his mentor had transformed into something that looked more like respect and fondness. There was once a time where Izuku could barely contain himself around mentor, let alone call him by his first name which was the norm for him in the present.

Seeing Toshinori's son and his vulnerability as a child reminded the young hero of that vulnerability he once had and how that weakness had manifested into obsessing over heroes and his desire to be one.

But when Izuku looked at Mirai, all he could feel is the most potent urge to protect this child at all costs, almost like he could see the future ahead in this baby like All Might had seen in him.

This child had parents who in their past and even in their retirement would sacrifice themselves for the sake of others. They held respect and dignity in them when they walked and talked about heroes and being one. This baby was born into a safety net with individuals sworn to protect all around him.

He carried the name of a respectable fallen hero who had once been his father's very own sidekick.

The young hero choked out a soft laugh as Mirai let go of the hero's hair and he transferred the child back into his mother's welcoming arms before returning back to his baby carriage, secured.
