"I'm not going to step a foot in there."

"Afraid of what can be inside?" Sarah teases Dylan that obviously doesn't want to go into the cave.

"I'm not afraid, but what if some dangerous animal is there?" He question us all.

"You're afraid, but who can judge you? After everything I must say that I'm not very keen of the idea of going in there as well." I state the obvious.

"Oh, good. I thought I was the only one that still had a functioning brain."

"What is that supposed to mean?" Sarah interjects.

"It's quite obvious isn't it? You were technically calling me out for not getting in there, but I'm not made of iron, you know? I treasure my life now more than I ever did. I don't want to go in there and have another unpleasant surprise." My eyebrows raise at Dylan's words. Usually he is always goofy and light hearted, but now he broke, he gave us a glimpse of his fears... that are just the same as mine and I bet everyone else here.

"I still think we should at least take a look."

"I don't know about you Ed, but I just told that I don't want to go inside and die doing it." He puffs his chest and locks his jaw, making him look sexy for a moment. He looks defiantly and I can see his muscles that now are visible thanks to him crossing his arms.

For a few seconds I have a flashback of the first time I saw him. He was and still is very attractive but then my eyes focus on Nathan's form and I can feel my heart melting. Dylan may be gorgeous but for me he doesn't even reach Nathan's beauty.

His body is carved like one of a God, his muscles are always noticeable no matter what, the inks on his skin give him a sexy and dangerous vibe, his eyes are gems, but the most beautiful thing about him is his personality.

"We've seen way worse, we can do this." The spell is broken when I hear Ed's voice.

"Why is it that someone is always stubborn or curious enough to wonder around unknown places?" Nathan mumbles loud enough for us to hear, even though I think he is talking to his own self.

"And we need a shelter otherwise we'll die with hypothermia." Beth continues the conversation. We all know the risks of going in there but if we stay here on the outside and with a storm coming we won't make it.

Once again, we have a fifty-fifty choice to make.

Risking dying inside that cave for whatever reason or undoubtedly dying outside from the cold.

"One of us should go first and see if there is anything dangerous inside, we can't go all in there at the same time, it would be suicide. Simply stupid." Lucy speaks her mind and as good as it sounds first, my idea of it changes as quick as a hoarse voice reaches my ears.

"I can go."

"No!" I say as soon as my brain processes his words and whose this voice belongs to. Is he crazy?

"Someone has to do this Kate."

"I'll go with you." Without acknowledging it I'm standing right in front of him. My hands are grabbing the hem of his shirt while my chest is pressed against his. He can probably feel my beating heart and its uncontrolled beatings. I look straight into his eyes and hope that he can see how much I want him, that I need him here with me. I can't let him go knowing that he can suffer.

His hands grab the sides of my face and he brushes his thumb on my cheeks. His eyes are a pool of liquid green and I would do anything to have them with me all the time.

I'm not ready to see his eyelids shut close and never open again while his eyes lose their sparkle and leave me forever.

"I'll be here for you Kate. I'm not going anywhere," He whispers and as usual seems to read my mind, "In fact..." He continues, "You still owe me a morning kiss cupcake."
