"Nathan? What was that?" My eyes remain locked on the small slit opposite from us. Nathan is way too focused on licking my neck to even hear me.
"Nathan!" I exclaim and create some space between us but only enough for me to see his eyes that are dark as night.
"What?" He questions me but his eyes are clouded, and he isn't thinking with his head.
"Over there, I saw something moving." I point to the place I'm referring too.
"Moving?" A frown is on his lips now.
"Like a shadow or something."
"Are you sure that it wasn't just the reflex of the water? We made lots of waves, or maybe your mind is still too shaken up because of what we did." He speaks and I know that he could be right, but he isn't.
"It wasn't that Nathan, take me there." I demand.
"Why can't you go there by yourself? Or better why don't you stay here, ignore whatever you saw, and we continue making out?" He starts dipping his head to my neck, but I stop him before he finishes his actions towards me.
"Stop thinking with the head down there and start thinking with the one on your shoulders, give the one down there a break, will ya?" I make my point and wait for him to come to his senses.
"Fine." He huffs and begins walking to the slit on the rocky wall, a frown is settled on his face and I know that I just ruined our moment but what if someone was watching?
When we reach the verge of the lagoon I start to push my arms and legs so I can reach the slit that is on the level up, the same level that has the entrance.
"Kate, if you want me to help you and forget my hard on, you need to take your ass from my face." I look back to see what he is talking about and I understand his drama instantly. My ass is up in the air right in front of his face while he helps me climbing the rocks.
I could fill my mind with lots of things just like 'why are we climbing the rocks when we have natural stairs meters from us?' but the one I say is, "You've a hard on again?"
"Can you blame me?" He gestures to my body, and then moves his hand in between my ass and his face, as a reminder of what is happening right now.
"Oh, sorry." I try to be quicker this time and climb it, but I only end up making it worse when I brush my foot on his bulge.
"Oh, shit." I hear him mutter, he pushes my hips a bit harder and that's all I need to get out and fall on the rocks, Nathan leaves right after me but with his eyes closed and I see him trying to control his breathing, or so I think.
"Where did you see the shadow?" He ends up opening his eyes and asks me. I stand up and try to take the little sediments from my body, I notice that I've put myself on my palm while climbing but I ignore it, I also try to clean the sand that has been on my body because of our heated encounter but I fail since I'm still wet, I tilt my head to the slit and Nathan looks at it, "I'll go first."
The slit is really tight and straight, so it's incredibly difficult to pass it. I can feel the rocks scraping my body and especially my thighs and back because of us going through it sideways.
I can't see if something is in the end of this tiny passage, Nathan's huge body is blocking my view, but I can feel my heart beating without stopping and at an uncontrollable beat. Without really thinking of it I grab Nathan's hand and give it a small squeeze, he stops and looks down at me only to receive an assuring smile from me.
I don't know what we're going to find on the other side, but I damn well know that I didn't imagine something... I know that I saw something. My photographic mind helping in noticing the small details and it still works perfectly and I know that I'm right on this and I didn't see things and my brains isn't tricking me.
