𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫

The wedding went smoothly as expected, I mean I tried my best not get noticed by Brandon and luckily he is busy with his brothers and even with Leon.

Sa ngayon ay nandito na kami sa reception malapit sa private beach resort na pagmamay-ari daw nina Hunter as a wedding gift from Ferris and Leon.

Balak pa nga nina Karlie na ipakilala ako kina Kevin at ang ilan nilang mga kaibigan pero nag paalam na muna ako sa kanila para mag tago lalo na't nasa malapit lang si Brandon. Todo tago nga ako pag nag lalakad lakad sina Achilles dahil baka makita nila ako 'eh.

I mean it's not that I am avoiding Brandon pero humahanap lang ako ng tiyempo para kausapin siya at sabihin rito ang lahat. Saktong kukuha sana ako ng champagne ng biglang lumapit sa akin si Shamara at Hunter.

"YUMERA! I'm glad you made it, thank you for doing us a huge favor."Hunter greeted me with a smile as he snake his arms around Shamara. Napangiti na lamang ako at tumango.

"It's my pleasure Mr. Collins,"

"Thank you so much Yumera, you made me so pretty with these gowns you made. Salamat din dahil uma-ttend ka."Shamara added.

"You're welcome Shamara, I should be the one thanking you because you treated me as your new friend. Thank you for this friendship."I retorted, maya maya pa ay may lumapit kay Hunter kasabay ng pag papaalam nito sa amin na may aasikasuhin lang daw siya kaya heto naiwan ako kasama si Shamara.

"Of course Yumera, you are a kind person. Mabait ka and I really like your attitude that is why I wanted you to be one of my friends."Shamara said, as I was about to answer the person that I wanted to hide from appeared from nowhere causing me froze from my post.

"Shamara,"he said not minding who's in front of him as he kissed her cheeks and greeted her with his sweet voice.

"You look beautiful as always, bagay na bagay sa'yo 'yang gown mo."he said, like come to think of it, he can throw compliments on Shamara that never did to me.

I mean he is sweet but never niya akong na-compliment. It's not that I am being absurd but when you literally hear the love of your life complimenting another woman especially his ex-fiance, sinong hindi masasaktan?

Bakit may karapatan ka ba?

Oo nga, wala akong karapatan pero ang sakit. Ang sakit sakit lang talaga.

I was about to step out from the scene when Shamara call out my name causing me to shut my eyes and held my breath.

"Mera wait!"like in slow motion Brandon turn his head towards me, meeting those cat like eyes of him. Shock is now written all over his face staring at me in flesh, tila ba nakakita siya ng multo dahil 'don. Napayuko na lamang ako dahil sa lakas ng kabog ng aking dibdib. Shit.

"Oh! Bran I want you to meet━"he cut Shamara off causing me to lift my head.

"Yumera..."naguguluhan namang nagpapalit palit ng tingin sa amin si Shamara.

"Wait...Magkakilala kayo?"she asked, Brandon is still looking at me without breaking our eye contact.

"Yes, we know each other. In fact we are CLOSE to each other."makahulugang sagot nito kasabay ng pag diin ng hawak ko sa aking dress.

I can feel my whole body tremble in fear and frustration, hindi ko alam kung ano ang mararamdaman ko ngayon sa mga oras na ito dahil sa sobrang bigat ng mga tingin na ipinupukol ngayon sa akin ni Brandon.
