~Ashton's POV~:
We have been touring all across the U.S. for a while now. I'm so happy that we have a tour here. I'm American as well as Australian so it's like visiting my second home whenever I come back to the U.S.
"Ashton?" Michael walked into the room. "Where have you been? Sound check started 15 minutes ago?"
Crap. I totally forgot. I was writing a song, as always. "Um..." I scratched the back of my neck nervously. Michael just gave me a 'Well just spill it already!' look. "Um I was writing...I forgot." I looked down at my hands now.
"Well come on. We have a show tonight? Did you remember that?" I rolled my eyes, of course I knew we had a show tonight. I just lost track of time. But Michael seems to understand. Kind of.
We got to the stage and all of the guys had wide smiles on their faces as Michael and I walked in. "Sup mates." I said cheerfully.
"Hey Ashton." Luke smiled back.
"Sup Ashton." Calum also smiled and picked up his bass. Luke mimicked him and picked up his guitar. They all got in their positions towards the front of the stage with mics and their instruments. I stayed in the back with my drum set. As always.
"1. 2. 1 2 3!!!" I yelled loudly after the sound check guy gave me the nod to start the session.
The others joined in as I started pounding the drums. We were playing American Idiot, our cover of one of the best Green Day songs ever. There are others that are obviously better but this one...it's pretty cool.
After going through our entire set I was drenched in sweat and so were the other guys. "Wow that was fun...as always." I say with a smile.
"Yeah. I love performing...even if nobody is really there..." Luke says smiling as well. The others just nod and drink some water in plastic bottles. Some refer to it as bottled water :)
"Okay I'm going to go take a nap. I'm pooped." Calum spoke tiredly and we all looked at him funny. Did he say he was pooped? "What? I'm tired. Deal with it." Calum turned and disappeared into our dressing room. We all joined him.
After all we are playing for a bunch of people tonight and I need rest before doing what I just did in sound check. I need to be awake for the fans. They came to see us and I can't let them down. I hope I never do. As always.
A/N: Here it is. The first actual chapter :) I hope you guys like this even though it's 5 Seconds of Summer and not Cethany...I'll update Out of my Limit soon I swear!!! Okay bye ily!!!
