~Ashton's POV~:
We were on the flight back to Minnesota. We needed to get back to our tour bus after all. And we had to get back to Bailey. I sighed at the thought of her. I really miss her."Hey Ashton when you gonna ask Bailey out?" Michael poked my cheek. I rolled my eyes. "Oh c'mon don't act like you don't like her. It's obvious just like how Luke likes Ava."
"Michael I don't like her like that. Okay? She's just a friend." I said. Michael is annoying sometimes.
"Dude you've been really depressed without her. I know you have a crush on her and I don't blame you. She's pretty, fun, and nice. Plus she's a musician. She's perfect for you." Michael won't shut up! So I punched him in the arm. "Owww! Ashton you dick." I laughed at Michael's reaction. I didn't punch him that hard...
I just remembered something. I still haven't heard Bailey sing or play guitar yet!!! I have to hear her before they go back to school. I have to hear her sometime over the few days we have with her and Ava.

We got off the plane and were surrounded by fans. After quite a bit of time meeting all of those sweet girls we were led to a less busy part of the airport by a big scary looking security guard. We turned a corner and Bailey ran up to me right away and hugged me tight. Ava did the same to Luke. After hugging me for a little longer then expected she hugged the other guys. Then Ava hugged the rest of us as well.Bailey returned to my side and offered to help with my luggage. I told her I was fine but she grabbed one of my suitcases anyway since I had two of them. "Thanks." I said lightly. She just smiled in response.
"So how was Sydney?" Bailey asked lightly. I felt awkward to be talking to her even though it's only been a few days since I've seen her.
"It was fine. It's warmer there..." Bailey smiled at my response. Seriously it's like Antarctica here in Minnesota compared to the warm Sydney sun.
"And how was your family?" She asked me a little after I had answered the last question. Silence had come between us for a minute or so until she had asked that question.
"Um. They're good. It was nice to see them again I guess since I've been gone for such a long time with these idiots." I motioned towards my band mates and they all looked offended. Michael punched me lightly in the arm. "What about your family? How was your holiday?"
"Um. They're good too I guess. I mean I see them a lot compared to you...my other family like cousins, grandparents, and stuff like that are all good too. It was nice to see them again as well I guess..." She answered softly, still dragging my suitcase as we walked towards the back of the airport, to avoid more fans.
"That's nice." I said quietly. She just nodded in response.
"Okay you two...stop acting like you just broke up or something and talk to each other!!! Gosh we all know you both missed each other like crazy..." Ava spoke up raising an eyebrow at us. Did Bailey miss me the way Ava is making it seem? Or is she just exaggerating? Ava turned back towards Luke. They were talking quietly to each other.
"Did you really miss me? Well like did you miss me as much as Ava is hinting at or is she just...I don't know what I'm saying." I pushed my messy hair out of my face a little but it fell back to it's original position.
"Yeah I guess...I don't know really. I'm just glad you're back even though we don't have that much time left together." She was blushing. She moved some of her brown hair behind her ear, revealing a little more of her face. She was biting her lip nervously...
"Well I missed you too...I'm glad I'm back too..." We finally made it to a black van with tinted windows outside of the airport. The driver came out and helped with our bags then we all got seated in the large vehicle. There were two rows of seats in the back of the car with three spots in each row. 6 seats in total excluding the two up front where the driver was sitting. Bailey and I sat next to each other in the back row with Calum. Ava and Luke sat next to each other in the row ahead of us with Michael. Michael kept turning around throughout the drive to wink at me or Bailey...or both? I don't really know what he was trying to do.
The car ride felt like forever even though it was probably only 15 minutes long. My thigh was against Bailey's as we sat, like normal when three people are crammed into a row of seats, but I couldn't help the nerves that surged through my body at the small, causal, touch.
"You okay Ashton?" The similar and annoying voice of Michael asked, probably noticing my reaction to something so small. I just kept telling myself that I barely know Bailey. We are just friends and that's all we can be. I can't get into that stuff while on tour. It just doesn't work out.
I closed my eyes and breathed heavily. I felt a small cold hand squeeze my arm. "You okay?" Bailey's soft voice spoke up. I opened my eyes and looked at her hazel ones...I just nodded and looked away. Bailey's hand pulled away from my arm and she looked out the window. We rode in silence till we got back to the tour bus. I guess I missed Bailey more then I thought. I just need to keep thinking about how I can't fall for her...I have to remind myself every second because otherwise I'd probably be grabbing her waist and pulling her closer to me...and I can't do that. Luke will have to realize the same thing soon because relationships just don't work while on tour. Being away for so long starts to push people away and mistakes may be made that will just screw everything else up. There's no way I can be with Bailey and no way that Ava can be with Luke. Not until this tour is over...The pain of reality.
