Ch. 11: My First Concert

~Bailey's POV~:
It was the first 5 Seconds of Summer concert I had ever been to in my entire life. In fact it was the first concert I had ever been to in my entire life.

The guys played their entire album, which I had become very familiar with, and some other songs that they have on EPs and stuff like that.

They were all running and jumping around the stage with their instruments, except for Ashton. I could see the sweat flying off their bodies as they raced around the stage.

Michael was the one who kept reaching out to fans and signed autographs while still playing his guitar which was pretty impressive and cool. You can tell that he really loves his fans...

Luke kind of ran around but didn't interact with many fans...he's a shy guy but he can't be that shy right? He kept stealing glances towards Ava and I, well Ava I guess throughout the concert but he never smiled. He had kind of a sad expression instead...I wonder why.

The best parts of the concert were when there was a cake or muke moment. Calum always made Luke mess up just by getting really close to Luke's face while Luke was singing, causing both to smile and blush radiantly. Michael and Luke played their guitars together with their backs pressed against one another's during Calum's solos. And then there was Amnesia.

This song was by far in my top three favorite 5SOS songs. Ashton got up from his drum set and moved to the front of the stage with the other guys. He had a cajón that he sat on. I recognized it from their Teenage Dirtbags cover on YouTube. Their first cover that they posted as a band...

Calum started off with the soft, sad words of the first verse. The mood in the entire arena changed. Nobody made any noise when they were all just screaming at the top of their lungs a minute ago to the song End Up Here.

When Luke came in for the chorus girl's voices erupted from the silence and sang along with him quietly, a few people yelling that they loved him in the process. I also watched how Ashton and Michael sang small harmonies at times and played their instruments. Luke and Calum sing most of the song so Michael and Ashton really don't have much to do except play...and Ashton didn't have much to play either.

I looked from Luke to Ashton, blushing as our eyes met. Crap not again...I can't start liking him...it will never work out...

I focused on the song and the beautiful lyrics. All of their songs have such amazing lyrics. Before I knew it I was singing along softly with Calum, then Luke. Ava smiled at me for finally singing again. She's the only person, that's not part of my family, that has heard me sing. We always sing together to all kinds of music. Whatever comes on my spotify shuffle works really.

Ava just hugged me from the side, "Bailey you really need to sing more often...you're so talented."

"Thanks Ava..." I side hugged her back. Then I continued to sing along quietly and Ava joined me. The rest of the concert was the same. The guys did their thing while Ava and I watched. They were really talented and their concerts are really fun to watch. They just look like they're having so much fun the whole time which brought a smile to my face.

After the concert ended we were all escorted back to a hotel since there was another show tomorrow night in the same arena. Ava and I share a room, Michael and Luke share one, and Ashton and Calum share one as well. We all decided to hang out in Michael and Luke's room for no special reason, we just did.

"So did you two enjoy the concert?" Michael asked with a smirk. "You guys seemed to be rockin out the whole time."

Ava and I looked at each other and blushed.., "Yeah your concert was really fun!" I replied happily.

"So much fun that you both sang along..." Luke said quietly while looking at the ground. He is so fricken shy!!! Ava smiled at his shyness.

"Yeah we did..." Ava spoke in the same quiet volume that Luke did, also staring at the ground as she spoke.

"You sang Bailey?" Ashton spoke up next to me. He had this mixture of surprise and disappointment in his voice. I nodded simply. He smiled.

"Why are you smiling you idiot?" I asked jokingly while blushing and grinning, probably looking like an idiot. I was slightly embarrassed and I hate being the center of attention. It's to overwhelming for me.

"Well it's cool that you know our songs that well and that you actually sang in public...you're working through your fear..." Ashton answered with a smile. He has a really cute smile...No. Just no. I can't feel this way!

I blushed again in response and grinned. "I'm working on it..." I said shaking my head.

"Well good cause we all really want to hear you. Oh and you too Ava. We saw you singing so why not you as well?" Calum asked cheerfully, finally joining the conversation.

"You will hear us both soon. Bailey just needs a little more time I guess..." Ava said, patting my back. "Bailey you're really good. Trust me, anyone who hears you will love you." Her kind words and her constant support always brightens up my mood.

"Thanks Ava. You're an amazing friend." I hugged her tightly before I yawned. "Oh my gosh I'm tired...I'm going to bed. Goodnight guys!" I stood up and Ava joined me.

"Goodnight!" They all said at different times within a few seconds, almost in perfect unison but not quite.

Ava and I went back to our room and got for ready for bed. It was a long day but it was also pretty cool. I still can't believe I'm hanging out with a band that is touring the world one continent at a time. It's like a dream.

A/N: Sorry for taking so long to update...I have finals coming up next week and a lot of work in school right now so I can't update much...I'll try my best!

I came up with some ideas for future chapters today and I'm really excited to write them!!!

Okay it's late and I need sleep...goodnight!
