~Ashton's POV~:
I was so nervous yesterday when I invited those two girls, Ava and Bailey, to meet the guys. In fact I was nervous the whole time. Why? I have to admit both girls were really pretty. Is that why I was nervous? Cause they were cute? I guess I do really like Bailey's personality, sometimes. She can be kind of sassy but she's also pretty cool. And I really want to hear her sing and play the guitar. She thinks she's bad but Ava's convinced she's good so I want to hear her for myself.

I decided to text Bailey. At least I had the guts to ask for her number. I invited her to come to the hotel we were staying at. It's called the St.Paul Hotel. She texted back a few minutes later saying that she was coming with Ava. Good because Ava and Luke couldn't keep their eyes off of each other yesterday.

"Hey Ashton what'd ya doing?" Michael walked into the living area of our hotel room, coming out of the bathroom we had to share. Michael is soooo messy and sharing a bathroom with him is just...it's bad to say the least.

"I was texting that girl Bailey. Thought they could come over for a little bit." I stopped looking down at my phone and looked up at Michael who had a smirk on his face. "What?"

"Oh nothing...does Ashy washy have a crushy wushy?" Michael grabbed my cheeks and pinched them while talking to me like I was a baby. I just rolled my eyes.

"I don't have a crush. We just met her. I just think she's cool. You know...fun to be with. C'mon mate you don't actually think I'd crush on some girl I just met? Do you?" Michael just continued to smirk.

"I don't know Ashton..." He turned and walked back to the bathroom to do who knows what.

I heard a faint knocking at my hotel door. Bailey and Ava must be here. It's either them or a pizza guy...Michael is always ordering pizza...

I opened the door to see Bailey, Ava, and a pizza guy. Well this is awkward. "Um thanks mate..." I grabbed the pizza then went back in to grab the money from Michael. I came back out and handed the pimply faced boy his money. Then I invited the girls in.

When I closed the door behind them they had both stopped and stared in the same direction. They were looking at a very hungry Michael who was trying to eat two slices of pepperoni pizza at one time. I rolled my eyes and chuckled at him.

"Um where's Luke." Ava spoke softly, nervously.

"He's in the room next door. We should all head over there. Michael you coming?" Michael was still trying to eat two pieces of pizza so he shook his head and waved at us, telling us we could go without him.

"So Bailey am I gonna hear you play today?" I elbowed her lightly on our way out the door. She blushed slightly, making me blush.

"Um I don't think so...sorry." She was smiling and looking down at her feet, her right hand was in a weak fist and was up at her mouth, trying to hide her obvious smile.

"Oh c'mon. Pleeeeaaassseeeee." I begged. It was weird I could act this way already, like we were good mates. She just laughed a little again and shook her head.

I knocked on Calum and Luke's door and Luke opened it a few seconds later. "Hey lads." Luke smiled, especially when he noticed Ava. He let us in.

"Hey guys." Calum waved at us as we entered.

"Hey Calum." We all cheered.

Luke awkwardly talked to Ava and I awkwardly talked to Bailey as Calum sat around awkwardly. We were all oblivious to what we should do.

"Ava!" Bailey yelled over to her friend who was lost in Luke's eyes. It happens to every girl. Luke's eyes are addictive, and that's coming from me, his mate.

"Huh?" Ava looked over at Bailey with a slightly annoyed expression.

"We should bring them to Minnehaha Falls!!! C'mon it'd be fun!" Bailey was fangirling over what I assume to be a waterfall or some place called Minnehaha Falls.

Ava's eyes widened and she nodded, "Yeah! That'd be fun! The waterfall is probably frozen by now too! We can probably walk behind it by now!" Bailey nodded and agreed with Ava. Great we are going out into nature.

"Ashton are you in?" Bailey's eyes were looking into mine with hope.

"Yeah..sure. Luke? Calum?" They both looked at each other nervously then nodded a little. I guess they were as excited for a nature exploration as I was. We went back to my room and forced Michael to come along. Great now we have to go out into the Minnesota winter, which is extremely cold by the way, and we have to explore some frozen waterfall.

Nature really isn't my thing...but it's what these two weirdos want to do and I don't know, maybe it'll be fun. Gosh I've known these two for a day and we already feel like best friends. It's insane. But it's also pretty cool. They are both really fun and I think we've made some really good friends here. I'm glad I was outside last night leaning against the light post even though I wasn't out there for a good reason, but whatever it's in the past. I need to focus on now and how I've met two awesome girls who are leading us on an adventure to show us their part of the world. It feels good to live in the now.
