~Bailey's POV~:
"It will all make sense but for starters...Bailey...you're adopted." Evan spoke shakily.

"Wait...I'm adopted? So my family is actually not even my actual family? And you? I'm just going to assume you're my long lost brother aren't you, and no not a fake brother from a past adopted family, no you're like my actual biological brother correct?" My confusion brought out anger deep inside and I had to force myself not to get up and leave. There was more I needed to know like where are my birth parents and where has he been....

"Bailey I know it's a lot to take in but don't say that the family you have now isn't your family because they are your family. The raised you for 15 years, you were adopted when you were 3 by the way...and they have loved you as much as they love their biological daughter. You are part of their family." He made sure to look at me this time so I understood what he was saying, deep down I knew I was a part of my family but right now I'm just a little confused so I'm not saying what I want to. "And yes I'm your biological brother. I have to tell you what happened okay? So you actually know why you're here and why I haven't been here."

"Okay." I nodded slowly and pulled my knees into my chest and waited for him to begin.

"So about 15 years ago you got adopted by the Pine family at age 3 because our parents...they...I'll get into that later." His voice cracked a little and I could already tell that our parents were dead. He wouldn't be close to tears if they weren't dead.

"So I've been raised by our grandparents for the past 15 years while you were set up for adoption. I'm not exactly sure why our grandparents didn't raise you as well, all I know is that they gave you away. I was 6 years old at the time and I don't remember much from those times. We were both too young to know what was happening."

"At age 6 I knew I had a sister though, but I was always confused because you had disappeared and whenever I asked Grandma or Grandpa, they would dismiss the question without any explanations. I kept getting older as years passed, still wondering what happened to you. I found pictures of us with our parents at a cabin, where I now live, and once I was 18 I began to do research on you but it was hard. I didn't have a lot of money, I'm an artist so I only get money from the artwork I sell, but besides that, it was really like you had fallen off the face of the earth until um...well." I eyed him suspiciously as he paused and scratched the back of his neck. He looked extremely awkward right now.

"I finally found you when all of that um...#baichael news went viral...I never thought my little sister would go for the punk rocker type." He chuckled a little and I covered my face in embarrassment. "Is it true that you and that, Michael that's his name right?, are a thing?" He was watching me with an amused expression.

"No it's not true...he's just a friend, we had lunch as friends one time and people went absolutely crazy." I sighed. Of course that stupid drama had to follow me home, it really wasn't that bad but it's annoying to be known as one half of #baichael.

"So what about that other girl and the blonde guy in the band? Who's she?"

"Ava, she's my best friend. And yeah she's in a pretty serious relationship with the blonde, Luke, right now. That's been all over twitter too since they were sucking each others' faces off at the airport yesterday..."

Evan smirked, "So are you dating anyone?"

My cheeks went red; "Bailey? I'm going to guess that's a yes? You're as red as a tomato..." He laughed a little again but I just hid myself; "So who's the lucky guy?"

"Aren't we getting a little off topic Evan? You still haven't told me what happened to our parents..." I tried desperately to change the topic but Evan wasn't letting this slide.
