Ch. 2: Minnesota Girl

A/N: Actual picture from Minnesota (a state in the United States for all who may not know idk) I took it and I know it's not the best photo ever but deal...I took it about a week ago while exploring Minneapolis (a city) and it was so foggy and dreary. It was kinda depressing but anyway here is the chapter...ily...

~Bailey's POV~:
My friend and I are exploring Minneapolis and St. Paul tonight. We live in Plymouth, Minnesota and have been to these two cities a million times but they never run out of new things to discover.

My friend, Ava, and I are both photographers so obviously we were bringing our cameras with on the little adventure. We went to the Mississippi River and hiked around there and we visited the downtown areas of both cities. At night everything is lit up, especially with Christmas things since Christmas is only a week away A/N: (I know Christmas is only like 5 days away and that when they come to MN for the tour that it will be July. This is just for the story.).

We took a lot more pictures in St. Paul than in Minneapolis. We got down by the Xcel Energy center and saw a line of teenage girls, about our age and younger, piled outside. Oh great there's a concert tonight. I bet it's a boy band too based on the amount of teenage girls.

Ava stopped to take a few pictures of the girls. I looked around a little and saw a mysterious guy standing in the dark, just standing there, well he was leaning against the light post thing I guess. The light caused shadows to form on his face, the perfect shot.

I pulled my camera up to my eye and peered inside to see what I was aiming my camera at. After adjusting a few knobs I got the perfect angle. I took a few pictures. Then I let my camera rest against my right shoulder again. It just hung there.

Ava finished her pictures of the girls (still don't know why she did that) and the overall scenery. We started walking again, towards the mysterious male I took a secret photo shoot of.

He turned to look at us. Fear filled his eyes. "Who are you and why do you have cameras." He tensed up and backed up a few steps.

"I'm sorry. Are we scaring you?" Ava asks politely, she has always been nice while I am not , well only when people piss me off.

"Are you paparazzi? Or fans?" He narrowed his eyes and put his hands out in front of him. I just raised an eyebrow. "Well?"

"We are just two 18 year olds trying to take photos of our state's Capitol. Sorry I don't know who you are or why you're scared of us but we are just people...well people with a passion for pictures." I spoke with a little bit of frustration. I don't know why but he was getting on my nerves.

He sighed in relief and held his heart. I just shook my head. What was his deal? "So why are you so paranoid of cameras and why did you think we were...wait are you part of the band that is performing there tonight." I pointed toward the Xcel Energy center as I put what he said and how we reacted into place.

The mysterious guy nodded. "Yeah my band, 5 Seconds of Summer, we're performing tonight. You haven't heard of us?"

I have heard of them. I like some of their songs but I never realized that this guy was part of the band. I'm not obsessed to the point of looking them up, I just listen to a few decent songs. So I nodded, "Yeah..just don't recognize you I guess..well I don't know what you guys look like at all. I've only listened to a few songs."

"Well okay then. As long as you aren't paparazzi or crazy obsessed fans...I'm Ashton by the way. The drummer." He held out his hand and I shook it. Ava did the same. "I better go. The show starts in a half hour. Bye." He waved then ran across the street and approached the stadium's entrance. Girls screamed as he smiled and waved at them before entering the building. Huh I guess I can officially say I've met a celebrity now, and so can Ava. I just shrugged and Ava and I continued to take our pictures.
