It's Friday afternoon which means as soon as the sixth bell rang and it was band class we were trapped in band until about 10pm for the foot ball game.
We're playing fight song when the team scores obviously but instead of playing our show for halftime we are playing crowdpleasers such as all about the bass and shake it off.
"Let's go practice! woo!" Seth says really excited... he runs to the parking lot. the parking lot is closed off so we can practice on it because the football team is using the field.
We all carry our instruments out
Noah is carrying Ian's sousaphone while Ian skips to his dot.
He normally skips with the tuba.
Ian doesn't notice the clarinet sitting on the pavement and trips over if falling into his face.
I think about helping him but instead try not to laugh
Aj runs to his side helping Ian up
"OTP!!!" I scream getting weird looks which I ignore

"Let's go show the audience the marching lemurs!!" Seth yells to us as we begin marching into the foot ball game.
I was in the last row next to Noah but Ian made me switch so he could look at Aj from the behind.
The uniforms are awful, polyester pants and a beret. everyone except pit and sousaphone where shackos and plumes but Sousas get berets.
We stand on the side line at attention until the cadence begins. When it's time we begin playing fight song and the football team runs in.
Then we are sent to sit in the band bleachers till half time.
We set our instruments on the track and take our seats. Although Noah goes to the fence to talk to a group of people who aren't in band.
So I third wheel with Ajan.
It's kind of adorable they're like cuddling, yet so awkwardly its a big moment for them.
And I've been sworn to secrecy!
"How long is the bus ride tomorrow?" I ask not knowing anything about football so I cannot pay attention
"Hour and a half. sadly we can't have the bus we had to band camp. But we're with percussion and the other low brass members. " Aj replies.
I look at the score bored

I should be excited saying as I'm at my first football game with the band. I'm so bored can it be half time yet??
"Bella where is your boyfriend?" Ian asks clearly annoyed with my presence
I point to my tuba on the track
"No he meant Noah." Aj says. I look at the fence, he's still there talking to people.
I look at the group of people girls from my science class and... Courtney. Noah is smiling and laughing with Courtney.
"Aj." I point to Noah,he turns and looks.
"The fuck?" Ian asks a little too loudly receiving a cold glare from Mr.Williams.
Me being me I'm going to go ease drop.
I kind of just stand there my back facing them but nearly right next to Noah.
"I bet I could get Bella to ask Mr. Williams to let you back in band." Noah says
"That'd be great Noah." Courtney replies.
"So she really made the threats up?" He asks
"Yeah! Like I know we had our differences but I'd never hurt Bella I love her!" Courtney says.
"God Bella lied.why would she be such a bitch!" Noah says
I think about screaming at them right there but then my body remembers I'm Bella Vaughn so I start crying.

I return to my spot and let my head fall into my hands
"Bella?" Aj asks
I ignore him.
Ian pulls my arms down that were supporting my head so it jerks down. he then laughs.
"I wanna go home." I say trying to stop crying
"I'm beating Noah up." Aj states.
"I want to leave." I wail.
I watch Noah start to walk over here he even sits next to me.
I move so now I'm next to Aj.
"Bella?" Noah asks
"You should leave." Aj says
"Why? Ian tell Aj stop being mean" Noah is so stupid,
"No bro you need to leave." Ian's use of bro surprised me ,he normally calls Noah bae or something more well Ian-y.
Noah angrily gets up and moves to the whole other end of the band bleachers.
Once Seth calls us for half time I'm still being a baby and crying luckily I'll be playing my sousaphone. and then I'm ditching the fourth quarter and cuddling with my tuba in my freezing basement and watching Netflix.
