Chapter 2

Quick Note: Ummm. I'm aware that Kairi has a sister. I didn't put Maiya in this story purely because I wanted the story to focus more on Mattia and Kairi and it was too difficult to add Maiya in all the time. You'll see what I mean later on in the story.

Anywho, into the story then......

4 Days Later.

Today was the day that Kairi was finally going to tell Mattia how he felt about him. Kairi had been gay for a while now but he had only recently admitted it to himself and no one knew except Alejandro. Alejandro had promised not to tell anyone about Kairi's sexuality and he had maintained his promise. Kairi found that he desperately wanted to tell Mattia how he felt about him but he didn't want Mattia to think that he was disgusting or anything. Kairi texted Ale for advice.

Kairi>> Ale I don't think that I can do this

Ale>> Kai wdym? It'll be fine, you gotta tell Mattia how you feel

Kairi>> I knowwww. I want to tell him so bad but what if he doesn't like me in that way, or what if he thinks I'm disgusting and stops talking to me.

Ale>> 1. Mattia definitely likes you too, we all see the way he looks at you, and 2. Mattia won't think that you're disgusting, have you seen the way he looks at you? Kairi Cosentino, you have nothing to worry about, now get your ass to Mattias house rn.

Kairi>> Ok fineeeeeee, your right. Thanks Ale.

Kairi quickly got dressed in an orange hoodie that Mattia had once told him that he liked on the boy as well as some black Adidas pants. He finished the look with some white vans and walked over to Mattia's house. He was mentally battling himself the entire way to Mattia's house and he almost turned around and went back home before he realized that he was already in front of Mattia's door. Kairi rang the doorbell and Mattia's mom opened the door a few seconds later. She instantly let Kairi in and asked him how he was doing.

K: I'm good thanks.

MM: I assume that you're here to see Mattia?

K: Yeah, is that ok? I know I didn't call first or anything.

MM: Oh yeah for sure, Don't worry Kairi, you're always welcome here, call or no call.

K: Thanks Mrs. P I appreciate that.

MM: Mattia's up in his room, I'll leave you two to it.

K: Thanks

Kairi called over his shoulder as he jogged up the stairs to Mattia's room. He softly knocked on the door and let himself into Mattia's room.

M: Kairi, I didn't know that you were coming over today.

He quickly jumped off of his bed and came over to give me a hug. He was wearing a black hoodie and grey sweatpants and when he embraced Kairi, Kairi could smell Mattia's cologne. His heart was going crazy for the boy and Kairi was terrified to say what he wanted to say to Mattia.

Just speak Kairi.

K: Y-yeah sorry I didn't text you or anything

M: No, its totally ok, I was actually just gonna text the group chat and see if everyone wanted to hang out.

K: A-actually Mattia, do you mind if we hang out just the two of us today, there's kinda something I want to talk to you about.

Well, now you gotta tell him.

M: Yeah of course Kai. What do you want to talk about?

Kairi started to panic. He didn't want to tell Mattia about his feelings anymore. He was sure that Mattia wouldn't feel the same way. He started to breathe heavily and he noticed that he was shaking.
