Smut warning.

TWO DAYS LATER

Mattia was out getting groceries for the three of them as his parents' business trip got extended and they wouldn't be back for another week. Kairi finished his cereal just as Mattia walked in with the groceries.

M: Honey, I'm home.

Mattia laughed at his own joke as Kairi pecked him on the cheek and took one of the grocery bags.

M: Guess what?

K: What

M: Tonight is date night.

Mattia waggled his eyebrows at Kairi who grinned.

M: I'm taking you out.

K: Where?

M: It's a surprise.

K: Fine, what do I have to wear though.

M: Whatever you want babe.

Kairi crossed the kitchen and wrapped his arms around Mattia's torso.

K: I love you.

M: I love you too.

M: Are you ready for our date?

K: I don't know, I don't know where we're going.

M: It's a surprise

K: Fineeee. When are we leaving?

M: Right now.

K: Wha-

Kairi didn't finish his sentence before Mattia grabbed his hand and dragged him out of the house. When they were both in the car and Mattia was starting to back out of the driveway Kairi spoke up.

K: Mattia am I even dressed properly for the occasion?

Kairi was wearing regular jeans and a large yellow hoodie; a matching yellow beanie to go with it.

M: You look perfect.

Mattia was planning on taking Kairi to the beach. It was far too cold to swim or anything but there was a cliff area where you could watch the most amazing sunset. Mattia had made a small picnic and gathered lots of blankets and he was hoping to just spend the night talking with Kairi. He loved spending time with his boyfriend, learning about each other, he wanted to know everything there was to know about Kairi. Mattia stopped along the side of the road and parked. The beach wasn't visible from where they were parked and when Mattia looked over at Kairi; he looked perplexed.

K: So you took me to a forest along the side of the highway for our date night?

M: No silly, c'mon.

Mattia and Kairi got out of the car and Mattia handed Kairi the bundle of blankets before he grabbed the picnic bag. Mattia led Kairi down the small path that led to the cliff when they emerged from the forested area and onto the cliff ledge Kairi gasped.

K: Oh Mattia. It's beautiful.

I love this man, I really really do.

Mattia just looked at Kairi and beamed before setting out the blankets. The two boys got comfortable on the blanket and then Mattia opened the picnic bag and handed Kairi a grilled cheese and a capri sun.

M: Sorry it's not a fancy restaurant meal.

K: It's perfect

The two boys talked about this and that, just whatever was on their minds at that moment. When they were finished eating, Kairi sat with his head on Mattia's chest, Mattia with his arms around Kairi. The sun was setting, casting a red-orange glow over everything; they could hear the waves crashing against the rocks below them. It was perfect.
