I feel bad for this chapter but I was in a weird headspace when I wrote it so.......

Anywho,

The Next Morning...

Kairi woke up to the loud alarm. He sat up with a groan; he didn't want to leave Mattia's warm bed. Kairi especially didn't want to deal with Ryan today. He turned and looked down at his still sleeping boyfriend; butterflies in his stomach as he thought back to the night before when they had said that they loved each other for the first time.

K: Mattia

Mattia continued to snore softly.

K: Mattiaaaa

K: Babe, baby, Mattiaaa

Still nothing. Kairi sighed, he was about to grab a pillow and smack Mattia over the head with it but then he had a better idea. Kairi leaned down and kissed Mattia's forehead, then his nose, and finally his lips. Kairi felt Mattia wake up and smile against his lips. Kairi leaned back and smiled at the still sleepy Mattia.

M: Wow, can I wake up like this every morning?

Kairi softly laughed.

K: No you dummy. You're supposed to wake up to the alarm.

M: But this is so much nicer.

Mattia sat up and grabbed Kairi's face pulling him in for another kiss. Kairi leaned into it opening his mouth for Mattia's tongue to explore. Mattia's hands snaked down to Kairi's waist and then around to his ass. Kairi moaned slightly and then leaned back; breaking the kiss.

M: Come backkkkk

Mattia was pouting. Kairi sighed and rolled off of Mattia.

K: We have to go to school

Mattia groaned and got up to take a shower.

The two of them met in the kitchen for another silent breakfast before heading to school in the car. Kairi realized that the pain of losing his mother had become a constant dull ache in his heart rather than the sharp stabbing pain that he had been feeling since she had died. The car was rather silent as well but Kairi gave Mattia a small grin as they headed to the highschool. When they pulled into the parking lot they both hopped out of the car and went to Alejandro's locker where he and Alvaro were talking. Mattia and Kairi stood close to each other but not too close as to seem suspicious.

Ale: Hey guys.

M: Hey Ale.

The four of them talked for about twenty minutes before the first period warning bell rang. Kairi felt an instant sense of fear. He wouldn't see Mattia until the second period and it scared him to be alone.

Fuck. Calm down Kairi. Stop having these stupid panic attacks.

M: Hey, I'll walk you to class, come on.

Mattia's voice instantly calmed him down, his breathing returned to an almost normal rate. Kairi nodded and the two of them said goodbye to their friends, Mattia left Kairi at the door of his English classroom and Kairi quickly took his seat at the back of the class. No one bothered him the entire class and he actually paid attention. 

Today is better, we're doing better.

The bell rang and he walked out of the classroom feeling slightly more confident. His newfound confidence didn't last long as he walked through the hallway and one of Ryan's friends shoved him into the lockers.
