Locked Out (Lapidot Human AU)

Lapis' PoV

Seeing the same damn view each day walking into the stupid building, nothing new ever happened. Seeing the same jock pick on the small nerd everyday with a bigger crowd.
'What wait?'
"Lapis you're just in time for the new kid beatdown" i get closer to see that it is a new kid. "Why are you just standing there? Help lapis" i looked up at jasper who had asked me to help. 'Around here...i was definitely the bully but this kid is just letting this happen to her, she's just sitting there' i crouch down to her level and stare at her whilst jaspers throwing punches. "Japser. Stop" i deadpan. Jasper's face drops.
"What? Why you got something better?" She growls spitting on the new kid. I don't know what happened in me but i have to protect her. "Jasper go, leave he-" i cut myself off looking at the crowd of people before talking again. "Ack everyone Piss off!" With that said the crowd murmurs and heads in different directions. Japser only looks at me. "You're pathetic you know that?" She shakes her head before leaving. I look at the girl on the ground, she's wearing black jeans, a green plague shirt and a black undershirt that says 'set it off' i look more and notice small freckles on her beaten face and a small stick and poke tattoo on her forearm. I was starring too much. "Hey I'm sorry about that my fri-" She stood up not saying anything only looking at me. I frowned. "No thank you for saving my butt?" I chuckled but that slowly dies down as she looked at me. "Thank you for checking out my beaten face? Psh go fuck yourself" my eyes widen and face grows a red colour. "Okay...Rude, i just saved your Ass" i scoffed. She stopped walking. "you didn't save my ass from anything, in fact you'd be doing me a favour if you'd just beat me" with that said she walked to class, i was already about 10 minutes late.

I couldn't stop thinking about her, shes so strange... her blonde hair messy with gel, her glasses obviously too big for her face, he green emerald eyes, her weird squeaky yet firm confident voice. 'Who was she?, I've never seen her before? Where did she come from?' "Why is she so mysterious"
"What?" Someone said beside me. Oh shit. I spoke out loud.
I squinted my eyes at this person fake throwing myself at them so they flinch. 'Pft dick'. I don't really pay attention in history so instead i put my earphones in putting my head on the table and going for a nap. Before i knew it the period was finished and the class had refilled with people I'm unfamiliar with. The teacher crossed her arms looking at me. "Uhh..." i grab my bag and run out the door crashing into a smaller person.
"Watch it freak!" I push them out the way only to see it was the girl from earlier. "Okay so earlier wasn't the time to fight but now is?" She raised her eyebrow. This girl never does smile. "Peridot Greene?" A teacher from the class i was just in called her name on the register. She barged past me making sure she wasn't marked absent. 'Peridot Greene' i repeated in my head. 'Peridot' i smiled walking to the next subject. Maths.

Finally the end of the day! I celebrate walking out the building almost sticking in my earphones before i got pushed to the nudged. "Grr what the fuck was that for?" I turn to see peridot with her perfect freckled...pale soft looking skin and...her eyes that sparkle...she only looked back with a non amused face i couldnt help but smirk at her. 'What is going on?' I was about to chase after her but before i could a horn beeps, being my mother and my mum smiling and waving. I begin to smile and head towards the car.
"So... who's she?" My mother Sapphire nudged me, i only blushed
"I-i don't know" i mean i was telling the truth, i know nothing about that small gremlin. "Gremlin?" My mum Ruby looked at me funny and laugh "who's a gremlin???" She laughed then looked through the mirror at me. I chuckled "no one mum"
