Sapphire PoV

"Ahhh, we are ready to-" I blushed at the site of my daughters crush on top of her like this.
"M-mother i-its not what it looks like!" Lapis sits up, Peridot jumping off of Lapis' lower waist. I raised my eyebrow at them both and smirked. "Loooveee birds~" I hummed walking out of the room. I couldn't help but- "yeah, love birds!" Ruby copied me slowly trailing behind. I face palmed. "Ruby, my love, let's have our own pillow fight" I grinned holding my pillow up. Ruby winked and 'sexy' growled. This made me chuckle. "Nooo you big goof" I began hitting ruby with the pillow pushing her more into our bedroom. "Hey sapphy... you're doing the actions, im just following up on what you're doing" Ruby shrugs and catches me off gard. I blush starring at her. Without warning she hit me with the pillow. "Nyahhahah Victory!" Ruby climbed on top of me. Staying still. "Ruby?" I squint my eyes. 'What is she planning?' Before I could think any more she attacked me with tickles. "Ru- ahahah rub" tears prickled my eyes, I was laughing a lot trying to get my loveable small wife off of me. "Tell me you love me and ill stop!" She demanded. " i love you, i love you, i love you!" I repeated and she stopped, kissing my forehead before getting up. "My beautiful wife, my laughy sapphy. Mi amor!" She wiggled her eyebrows and held out her hand. "Let's make dinner" I nodded and took her hand.

"Vala, I poured wine!" Ruby shouted. I snorted after hearing that. "W-what did you say?" I couldn't stop laughing. Ruby frowned and placed her hands on my waist whilst i was mixing pasta in the pot. "I said Vala? Is there a problem? Mrs Garnet?" Ruby held me from behind pushing my hair to the side and kissing my shoulder up to my jaw line. I blushed and chuckled. 'She was too cute' "nope, no problem." I finished with the meal and turned the stove off. Turning to face ruby. "Could you collect Lapis and Peridot?" I smile. "I sure can" with that said she walks off.

Lapis PoV

It had been awkward since earlier today but I couldn't stop thinking about it, how we stayed in that position, keeping eye contact. It made my heart race.
"Lapis, Peridot, Dinner has been served by the finest chef" my mum chuckles and leaves the room. I stood up looking at Peridot, who was clearly zoned out, looking at the night sky.
"Peri?" No answer.
"Peri??" Still no answer.
"Peridot!" She spun around quickly. And looked at me. She looked scared. I looked down. "Sorry... Dinners ready" I didn't wait for a reply I just headed down stairs.
"Ruby~ stop they'll be down stairs any second now" my mother giggled at the kisses on her neck. I blushed and looked away. "In fact, I'm already here" I sat down at the dinning table, looking at my phone. Not realising that Peridot had been sitting in front of me for 3 minuteschuckl
"Lapis? Are you okay?..." Peridot wwhspered. I look up, she looks hurt. "What? No! I'm fine" i gave a small smile and placed my phone down.
"Are you okay?" It was her turn to look at me. "Y-yes" was all she said before eating her food. I couldn't help but watch her. A bit of pasta sauce dripped on her chin. I didn't even realise what I had done until i saw everyones reaction... "what?" I look at everyone they looked shocked especially Peridot. "Why did you do that?" Peridot blushed a lot. "Do what?" I was so confused. "Wipe my face.." i face palmed at myself. "I'm sorry i didn't mean to, i got caught up admiring you" my eyes widened and I face palmed again. "Lapis has the hots" my mum smirked at me. I stood up and left the table in embarrassment.

Peridot and my parents were still downstairs talking so I decided to put on my head phones and listen to music.

I smile at the song playing and start to hum, this song had become my favourite song in the space of 3 days of listening.

I begin to start singing, nodding my head in the beat.

"As the hours pass, i will let you know. That i need to ask, before I'm alone. How it feels to rest on your patient lips, to entiernal bliss, I'm so glad to know~"
I Smile dancing a little, in my own small universe. I was about to sing again before Peridot and my mothers fell through the door. My eyes widen. "W-wha?" I pull my headphones off. Peridot stared up at me with stars in her eyes as for my parents they were shocked that they...fell through the door.
"Lapis, your voice is beautiful" peridot stands up slowly, not looking away from me. "W-why were you listening..." i blushed and looked away pouting. "I'm sorry, i was going to walk in but you were singing and i couldn't help myself.. but i don't know why your parents are here too..." Peridot looked at my parents. I pushed my parents out the door. "Thanks for the compliment anyway..." i sighed and sat down on the bed. "Is something wrong" peridot placed her hand next to mine very closely. I bit my lip and looked away. "N-no, I'm good" 'I'm not okay, i think i have this major crush on you'. Peridot sighs.
