Lapis PoV

I was awoken late at night by thudding in the bathroom and a yelp of pain. I rushed to the bathroom in my room banging on the door.
"Peridot?!"
I could her gasp and whine.
"Im-im just drunk!" She yelled to me.
I frowned not believing her.
"B-be careful!" I walk back to my bed as I heard Peridot crash into the bathtub, everything went silent.
Something seems off. Peridot had dissapred after the small water fight incident. And hearing her... she sounds hurt.

I was awoken the next morning by Peridot holding her head. She was also eating a lot of cookies.
"What happened last night?" I question. Her posture stiffens.
"N-nothing, I told you I was drunk." She nervously smiles walking away.
Is she... is she perhaps seeing someone else?... it would explain her sneaking out a lot. This hurt me to think. But it also infuriated me.
"Peridot Greene! Tell me the truth" I grab her wrist turning her around, she yelped sounding as if she had been shot, tears rolled down her cheeks. My eyes widen, I look down at her meeting her eyes. She looked like she was having a battle with herself.
"Just leave me alone Lapis..." she muttered under her breath turning away again. I grunt and spin her back around.
"Would you quit it! Tell me whats wrong! Lately you havent trusted me with anything! You are locking me out from your feelings!" I yell at her. Her face shifts into an enraged look. One I have never seen. "Just, Fuck off! I dont need you!! I just- I Ugh!" She yelled back pushing me into my desk. I look at her shocked. What has gotten into her. I growl and grab her forearms and she howled in pain, this made me more furious I pull her sleeves up without hesitation. I gasp tears spilling from my eyes,
"Peridot! WHAT THE FUCK?!" I scream. I was so hurt. She kicks me off of her before sprinting off.
I was Not giving up, she is hurt! She could be in trouble! She could be cheating on me! I begin to follow her outside hiding in the shadows she was on her phone, sobbing. My heart ached at the sight. I kept following listening to her talking to herself.

'You're so stupid Peridot' She whispered before punching a near by tree. Why is she hurting herself?!
"Peridot!" Came a voice from behind her and I. Was that...Jasper?
What is going on? Peridots face seemed to light up and Jasper grinned running up to Peridot. This was a shocker. I continued to listen to the conversation.
"Jasper-" Peridot was cut off my Jasper.
"Last night was so good Peridot! Im glad you shoot your shot with me- im up for another round tonight! How about you?" No way I was hearing this right.

"Sure thing! I need to release some stress anyway" Peridot laughed afterwords, following Jasper. I whimpered quietly before bursting into tears, my heart was in pieces.
'Peridot wouldn't cheat?'
'Then again she wouldnt kill and she done that too!' I cried loudly slamming my fist into the ground.
"Fuck you!" I yell at nothing. I felt like I was going to vomit.

I arrive back at the house, it was quiet, pretty sure my parents were out at work. Thinking about it... I'm pretty sure I return back tomorrow.
I need to get this off my mind- im not smoking, Not in the mood. Not drinking, too aggresive. Perhaps I can eat icecream and take a bath... I thought about it and agreed with myself quietly. Grabbing some vanilla and strawberry icecream and heading towards the downstairs bathroom, locking myself in. I sighed heavily, my tears spilling down my cheeks.
"She wouldn't actually cheat, she said she wanted to spend her life with me..." I talked to myself pacing around the cold bathroom as the bath filled up with warm water. I pull out my phone and look through my contacts.

Lapis: Hey, can you come over in an hour or so? I need to talk to someone.

Kevin: sure thing bby

(You may be wondering....Gray wtf? Why kevin? But like- stick with me here)

I smile and strip down getting into the warm bath, feeling relaxed, the cold icecream mixing with the warmth is nice, my mind was free to wonder about anything. And it certainly didn't go to peridot.

"Lapis, Peridot! Were home!" My mother yelled out, My eyes watered at the mention of Peridots name. "Alright, i-im in a bath- ill see you when I'm out" my shaky voice called back.
I laid my head back accidentlly falling into a light sleep.

I awoke 30 minutes later to a knock of the bathroom door.
"Lapis, a boy is here to see you" I smile at what my mum had said and got out from the bath, my hand were all wrinkling. I wrapped a towel around myself and stepped out. My eyes were kind of red from crying.
"Mum tell him to wait here, ill come down in a few minutes"
I ran upstairs and got myself dressed appropriately. I was wearing a simple black loose crop top with my grey sweatpants and my hair was in a small up and down style to hold my bangs back. I walked downstairs and seen Kevin grin. "C'mon" I smile back and open my door for him.

"Cool layout, what do you need to talk about?" He sat down on the edge of the bed and I sat at the top of the bed.
"I think Peridot could be cheating on me, with Jasper" It hurt me saying it, the first time I even met Peridot she was being Beat up by Jasper and now they are together? A tear rolled down my cheek but kevin caught it and looked at me.
"Don't cry over Peridot, c'mon we are going for a drive" Kevin stood up and held out his hand which I grabbed.
My parents looked at me shocked and disappointed.
"Dont wait up!" I yelled and ran out to Kevins car.
"Ill take care of her, shes heartbroken" Kevin spoke to my parents before my heading out. Kevin and I have always been friends, but he used to be so toxic and rude, he said that he had changed due to heartbreak by his ex girlfriend, and well, if I'm honest... he totally deserved it.
"So where are we going?" I ask rolling the window down and playing some music. He smiles at my actions and turns the music up.
"1. We are driving around the city
2. I love this song! Sarcasm by Get scared! LAPIS LAZULI when did you like This music?!" I grinned at him and snorted. Forgetting today even happened.
"Since forever." I sing along with the song and just admire the views of the dark sunset.

Kevin and I had gotten to a nearby hill, it looked beautiful, you could see the whole view.
"Kevin- this is wonderful" i speak quietly still taking in the starry night. He blushed and looked away.
"Its the first place I took Angella" he smiled sadly before sighing. I went over and hugged him. He was a little shocked at my actions but gave in.
"I'm sorry, I'm so heartbroken, I've became a big softie" I chuckle and look around. Something feels a little off.
"Kevin- do you" i was cut off by a sudden gun shot and someone screaming. Kevin and i exchanged glances and sprinted towards to the noise, My eyes Spilled like buckets of water at the sight.
"Yo- your girlfriend has turn into a freaky murderer" he whispered, I didnt even want to look at her, shes became a monster...
"Take me home, Now." I demanded and he nodded instantly.

I arrived home and waitied for peridot to walk in the door. Which she did about 20 minutes after me. She looked scared to see me.
"Lapis! I-" she hesitated and came closer, but i stood back.
"Im sorry- i pushed you away, im sorry i told you to fuck off, i do need you and-" I pushed her back onto the couch. And looked at her sternly.
"You do not need me, you need Jasper, You want Jasper! THATS WHY YOU HAVE BEEN SNEAKING OUT! To go fuck around with Miss Cheeto Puff!" I screamed at her, her faced drained of colour, her eyes were wide.
"Ho-how do you?" I kicked the small table over causing a loud bang. "How do i know?! I heard you! I followed you! 'Ohhh peridot last night was so good!'" I mocked jasper horribly and pulled my hair. Peridot stood up and hugged me tightly, i tried to push her off but she held my closer.
"I Have a business with Jasper, she wants me to kill people within gangs" she looked up at me. I still stared through her, i pushed her aside and walked away. She fell to the ground in tears.

"Lapis, I love you!"
