Peridot's PoV

i run through the corrider, last period, i can just skip it right...no one will know. I look back seeing a sad and angry Lapis, i want to be friends with her...i do.. but my dad...

*Peridot's flashback*
"Peridot you'll keep this secret between you and daddy won't you? Promise daddy you wont tell any friends or ill have to do that thing you don't like" peridot nodded "i won't dad" she looked up at him smiling. "What did you call me?" Her eyes widened. "I'm sorry! I meant daddy!" She moved back in fear. He only shook his head, pulling his belt from his pants. "No, daddy im sorry i didn't mean it!" She began to run towards her room. "PERIDOT GET BACK HERE YOU BRAT! DO YOU HAVE NO RESPECT FOR ME?!". Peridot slams the door shut and hides under the bed panting for a breath. She heard a loud grunt followed by a gentle knock. "Peridot sweetheart i won't hurt you, i was just making sure you knew what would happen if you told anyone" with that said her father entered and sat on the bed. "Peridot dear?" He said smoothly. She got out from under the bed and looked at him. He smiled, an evil smile. "Peridot darling turn around and tell me the time" she turned around starring at the clock. "you look so much like your mother" peridot turns around confused getting hit in the face by her fathers belt, and hit again. "NEVER EVER! DISOBEY DADDY!" He unzipped his pants. "No, I'm sorry!" Peridot cries, "Not good enough"

*End of flashback*

My eyes were wet with tears and my sobs were loud. "P-Peridot" it was that damned angelic dumb perfect voice! 'Who am i kidding...' i turn to her in tears and she shocked, wrapping her slim arms around me, i just sobbed, hard. I couldn't stop. "I-im sorry, I- I'm too scared to go home" She holds my head closer to her reassuringly. "You can come home with me, can you talk about it?" Those words my dad had said stuck in my head. I shook my head no. She only sighs and rubs my back. "Hey~ shh its okay Peri" i quiet down. "Do-dont call me that" i frown at her. She only chuckles. "Let's get you home to my house my parents won't mind" i look down ashamed at myself. Lapis leads me outside where her mothers small red car was.
"Mother this is.. er... Peridot.." her mother turns to me and smirks, nice to meet you Peridot, I've heard lots." She says, i couldn't help but blush catching eye contact with lapis. She quickly looked away, "mother!" She looked out her window blushing.
'Talking about me huh?, i don't know why, you've only actually known me for 2 days now, you're even letting me stay in your house?' i thought to myself, they are all true and real thoughts... she has no idea what my favourite colour is. Not even my hobbies or my intentions to survive.
"So Peridot...why can't you go home?" The small woman asked looking at me through the mirror approaching a large house. I only stayed silent.
"I understand, sorry for asking" she sighs and parks the car getting out.
I grab my school bag and get out of the car following lapis inside. "W-where is your bathroom Lazuli?" I ask nervously. She points me down the hall, when i walked in it was marble themed, i was afraid to touch anything... something triggered a memory looking into the sink

*flashback*
"C'mon the quicker you do this, the quicker you can be with mum, get away from that abusing bastard" she grunted pulling a blade up her arm pushing deeply, seeing the blood pour out her arm made her faint, which alerted her dad. He didn't even care. He walked in looking at her body. "Dumb bitch" he picked her up and washed her wounds wrapping a bandage round her

*End*

I looked down at the scar on my wrist, crying. I gotta do this. I need to see mum. 'No Peridot, lapis can help! So can her mums' grrr, i pulled my hair crying more than before. I normally have my sleeves rolled down but no one will even look at my arms...
"Peridot, dear? Are you okay?"

'Peridot Dear, peridot honey...Come out from your hiding!'

"Please dont hit me, im sorry i didnt mean it" i was having an Episode. Lapis and her other mum Ruby had heard all the noise and decided to check out what was going on. I was curled in a ball begging for forgiveness from my dad.. except, my dad wasn't here. I look up seeing Ruby and Sapphier tearing up. Lapis looked hurt... now is where the truth comes out. Here is where i get into trouble...

"Peridot, I'm sorry, i didn't realise that word would have cause an episode." Lapis' mother said who began to ask for forgiveness and her other mum was holding her. Lapis walking into the bathroom to comfort me. "Are you okay?... Did something happen?" I couldn't respond. I was in fear. "He's going to hurt me...kill me.. i- i don't want to go back there! I can't!" I choked on my sobs, not catching a breath, tears were spilling out, lapis and her mothers exchanged looks.
"Can you tell us more?" Ruby spoke to me. I looked down, telling them the story of my dad after my mum passed.

Gray here, this was just an understanding chapter of peridot traumatic Issues, most of the time it'll be lapis pov...until its not again ;))
