Calum Hood (5 Seconds of Summer) was first attached to professional NannySkye Daniels a few weeks ago when the two were photographed leaving the bands hotel in Sydney, Australia together. Daniels took to Instagram a few days later to post a selfie with a caption denying the rumors.

Yesterday paparazzi caught sight of Daniels out for a shopping run with a unknown male companion before driving directly to Hood's home in Studio City. Hood again denied the dating rumor while on an Instagram Live with fellow bandmate Luke Hemmings yesterday afternoon. Both Hood and Hemmings made it seem as if neither of them knew Daniels in any way.

"Skye!" Calum yells through the house, panic rising into his chest as he rereads the article.
"Is everything okay, Calum?" She wanders into the room a moment later, frowning at the look on his face.
"Paps followed you yesterday! They followed you back to the house. Fuck they know you're staying here."
"Calm down, Calum. So they know I'm a roommate, why is it a big deal?"
"Because fucking TMZ is now trying to get the debate going over whether you and I are dating or whether you are my child's nanny. The idea that I might be a dad is out to the fans. What happens if the truth comes out." His eyes fall into a deep fear.
"Hey, hey, hey." She sits down beside him quickly, pulling him into a tight embrace. "We'll figure something out okay? Nika is the most important right?"
"I have to protect her, Skye, they can't have her. They don't get to take her innocence or happiness. And they don't get to take it away from me either. I like having her as just mine. I like that she is something in my life the fans don't see, don't have a say in. Don't get to be a part of yet." His voice comes out hot and breathy into her shoulder as he hugs her back tightly.
"Say what you want to say, Calum. Tell me what you want me to be doing to make this work for you."
"Skye. I need you to do something for me... and I need you to not freak out when I ask you to do this."
