fans of Calum Hood are convinced he is a dad after a photograph of a young girl was posted on his Instagram. The photo was only up about an hour before being removed. It's been over a week and there is still no response from Hood.

"Fuck." Calum groans quietly, running a hand over his face. He had hoped the Nika thing would be buried by the billboard charts issue, but instead it seemed to give the fans a way to voice both concerns in a loud and noticeable way. Slipping from the bed carefully, as to not wake the woman sleeping in his t-shirt on the other side, he leaves the room, hitting call on Michael's contact as he steps out into the sun on the back patio.

"It's like eight in the fucking morning, Calum." Mikes voice sounds heavy and groggy.

"I have to do it, Mike... I have to tell the fans about Nika." He panics, ignoring Michaels distaste to the time of day.

A loud sigh comes from Michael's end of the line, "I know, Cal, and I'm sorry. I really wish you didn't have to do it like this. But it's not going away."

"What if they destroy her..?" Calum's voice cracks as he asks.

"They won't. They are going to love the punk princess. It's going to change things, Cal, and some of them will be immature about it. Unfollow and block who you need to keep your family and your mental health safe. You don't have to see anything on your timeline you don't want there. And make it clear with the fans that you intend to do that. Because she is your daughter, not a piece to the 5sos game, not something the fans get to be a huge part of, and stay strict about that. We will all help. You know we all love Nika more than anything else and we want to protect her too. We'll have you're back through everything."

"Thank you, Mike. I'm still scared, but thank you."

"Crys and I would do anything for our godchild, don't forget it. And Luke, Ash, and their girls would too. Roy, Skye, Mali, your parents, our parents, the whole fucking 5sos team would lay down their life in defense of your little girl. She will be kept safe."

"Whatever you are comfortable with, Cal. If it's the same picture because they already have it. If it's a different one, or multiple, you write hey guys, somehow that photo got leaked and just coming clean she's my daughter and I love her, but I'm keeping her separate from my public life still like I have for the past three years. Or you explain what you're willing and say questions about her are strictly black listed beyond that. It's up to you. We will all support what you choose to do."
