"A camera?" Skye pulls away, her eyes wide.

"Fuck, ya, a camera." Calum pulls her into his chest, looking around for any place a camera might be able to see into his yard from.

After multiple minutes of silence Calum curses under his breath. Wherever the camera was, they heard him realize they were there, and they either left, or are hiding far better than he can find.

"Can we go inside, Cal? I don't like the feeling that someone is watching us while we are at home. This is supposed to be a safe place." He can feel how tense her shoulders have become, her body not quite but almost shaking.

"Ya, come on. I got you. Lets get inside." Calum sighs, keeping his arm tightly around her as he guides her back to the patio door. Anger bubbling in his chest at the thought that he nor his girls are safe even here in their own house.

"You guys okay?" Roy's eyebrows knit together as they enter the kitchen. Calum immediately turns to close and lock the door, followed by closing the curtains that are almost always left open.

"There was a camera." Skye says shakily, standing in the middle of the kitchen looking somewhat like a lost puppy, her eyes filled with concern.

"In the yard!?" Roy snaps suddenly.

"No, looking into the yard. I couldn't find them, but someone was definitely taking pictures of us." Calum seethes.

"What? Paps can get away with a lot of shit but not that. This is our home, your private property. They cannot be invading." Roy stands suddenly.

"Fuck, Roy! I know!" Calum bellows.

"I'll get on the cameras see if I can see anything on the perimeter."

"Thanks. I'm going to try and get her nerves calmed. She isn't used to be followed 24/7." Calum sighs, curling his arms around Skye tightly.

"I don't like that they were privy to such a private moment." Skye whispers into his shoulder, her voice cracking ever so slightly.

"Me either, baby, me either." Calum sighs, rubbing up and down her back soothingly.

"Daddy?" Calum glances up suddenly as Nika's small and scared voice sounds from the doorway. The small girl clutching her Hei Hei with one hand and rubbing one eye deeply with the other.

"Oh no." Skye turns around quickly, scooping Nika into her arms, "What's up, punk princess?"

"Loud noises. Daddy mad?" Nika frowns.

"I'm not mad at you, baby girl, or at Skye. Sorry if I woke you up." Calum sighs, rubbing up and down Nika's little back as she snuggles into Skye's shoulder.

"Scared me, daddy." She frowns at him.

"Why don't the three of us go cuddle on the couch and watch a movie for a little bit?" Calum asks, knowing without a doubt his daughter will be back asleep within a few minutes of a show being turned on.

"Moana?" Nika half grins.

"I think we own that one, yes." He laughs, wrapping an arm back around Skye's waist and guiding her through the room to the large sectional. Duke popping his head off the couch as they approach.

"Do you want to cuddle with daddy or Skye, Nika?"

"Ssskye." She yawns heavily, her eyelids already batting slowly.

"Figures. She really does like you more than me, doesn't she?" Calum laughs.

"Well, I'll hold her, and you can hold me." Skye smirks, sitting down beside him as he gets comfortable on the couch.
