"Daddy!" Calum startles, pulling his head from the pillow to see Nika seated in Roy's arms in the doorway.
"Is there a specific reason I found the punk princess playing with foil packages on your bed this morning?" Roy smirks at Calum, holding up a wrapped condom for him to see.
"I'd lie and say I haven't got a clue but I think you would see right through that one." Calum grumbles back, lifting the blanket to cover Skye's bare back.
"Probably." Roy chuckles, "Maybe next time you decide to bang the nanny you could put your supply of protection away and be in a little less of a hurry."
"Fuck off." Calum sighs.
"I think I will. Nika and I are going to get some breakfast. We'll see you two when you decide to get ready for the day. Oh, and Nika had this too." Roy tosses Calum's cell phone onto the foot of the bed.
"Thanks."
"Don't have too much fun in here." Roy calls out before pulling the door shut tightly.
Calum turns after he's gone, brushing some of Skye's hair out of her face, leaving soft kisses across her forehead until she begins to stir. "Good morning." Calum smiles softly at her.
"Hi." She giggles, a soft blush filling her cheeks.
"Are you okay this morning, Skye?"
"Ya. Sorry I was a blubbering mess about a stupid dream last night. You didn't need to see me like that."
"Hey, it wasn't stupid. Your story, your emotions, the tears, they are all valid. And I didn't mind listening to you. Don't ever apologize for getting emotional over shit like that. It is real shit and you have every right to be emotional and freaked out by it. Don't ever let anyone tell you any of your emotions are unjustified. Okay?"
"Thanks. It feels stupid though, now that I'm awake."
"But it isn't. Because that was a traumatic time in your life and even if the trauma is over or gone, it still affects you. And that is okay, 100% okay." He coos.
She nods softly, smiling sheepishly, "Thank you for waking me from the dream, Cal, it could have been so much worse if I'd stayed locked in the dream even longer."
"Of course. I came up from the meeting with the boys and heard you thrashing around, I wasn't just going to leave you to yourself in that state. Um, are you okay with what happened after that, Skye..?"
She chuckles softly at his nervousness, "I'm not going to lie and say I didn't enjoy it very much."
"I enjoyed it too." He grins, "Very, very much."
"But... what if it ruins things, Calum? I can't lose this job." Her face suddenly fills with concern.
"You won't. I promise. I won't let what we have opened the door to ruin your employment, I promise."
"How can you be sure of that?"
"Easy. I'm the boss. If I promise I won't fire you over us, then you won't get fired over us." He smiles softly, "Besides, I don't think there will be anything to fire you over. You take great care of Nika, and my house, and me." He winks quickly before leaning in to capture her lips with his own.
"That was some fucking cheesy shit." She laughs as she pulls away from him.
"But I got that worried look out of your beautiful eyes, so it worked. Now, how about some breakfast?"
"I'd love some. But first, clothing." She giggles.
"I got it." He nods, kissing her again before sliding out of her bed.
