Sophias POV
"Serena, what are you doing here?" I asked. I mean I wasn't shocked that she could buy alcohol she looked old enough, especially after what Morgan told me about her being so well known in this town. But I wasn't just going to ignore the fact that I'd witnessed my 18-year-old student walk out of a liquor store.
"Usually people at a liquor store tend to be there to buy liquor," she said in an annoyed tone. She was still mad at me.
My facial expression softened at her hard tone. "Serena I'm sorry about earlier I really didn't mean it like that"
She let out a sarcastic laugh. "So then what did you mean it like Ms.Ryan." Her eyes held aggression but I could also tell she was genuinely hurt at the statement I had made. "I was just angry about Julianna talking in my class and I took it out on you... I'm sorry." Serena's expression softened a little and I could see the wheels turning in her head as she was lost in thought.
I was prepared for her to be a complete bitch back but I was really hoping she'd forgive me. Then she spoke, "yeah well, Julianna can be pretty annoying so that's understandable I guess" her signature smirk now returning to her face. I felt a wave of relief wash over me. "So you're not mad at me anymore," I asked while smiling. "How could I stay mad at my favorite homeroom teacher" I laughed while rolling my eyes, "Serena I'm your only homeroom teacher." We both just laughed.
"So where are you two headed?" I asked motioning at her and Carmen who was sitting in the passenger seat. She looked over at Carmen and then back at me, a devious smirk playing on her lips. "Only one way to find out," she said raising an eyebrow and looking at me expectantly.
My heart was hammering in my chest and I refused to pull my eyes away from hers. She was my student and I could get in so much trouble if I was caught with her. But she was also Serena, I was drawn to her and I knew I wouldn't be able to say no.
After what felt like an eternity Serena broke the silence. "I mean unless your scared, which is completely understandable I'm sure those teachers told you I was a serial killer" Serena joked in a flirtatious tone. I just rolled my eyes and smiled at her. Then without another thought, I opened her back door and got in the car.
Carmen was smirking in the front seat, "Hey Ms.Ryan" she said while cranking up the radio. "Carmen" I breathed out. I took a minute to admire the beauty of Serena's car. It was an Audi and looked brand new, not going to lie Serena looked pretty damn hot driving around in this.
We were in the car for a short amount of time before pulling into what looked like a garage. IK thought back to what Morgan had told me about her brother and the motorcycle club. I couldn't believe Serena had actually brought me here. I had no idea what to expect.
As we pulled in and parked I saw the long line of perfectly arranged bikes and there were a lot of people here. There was a huge grill going in the corner and it smelled amazing. Kids were running around and people could be heard laughing and singing along to the rather loud music.
When Serena exited the car everyone started greeting her and I realized she really was like a celebrity. I was standing next to her now just taking everything in. A boy called out to Carmen and she went running off leaving Serena and I standing there. Suddenly I felt a hand in mine and she just looked at me and smiled before she pulled me into the crowd of people. We walked over to a bar and people continued greeting Serena. I sat at a barstool as Serena walked around to the other side. "You want a drink," she asked looking up at me. I nodded feeling the need to loosen up a bit. The blonde handed me a beer and I shot her a smile, "Thanks."
Serena walked over to the other side of the bar and took a seat on the stool next to mine. I just looked around at all the guys with their leather jackets on. There was a game of pool going on and people were shouting for whoever they wanted to win. Just then I felt a hand on my knee. I looked down at it and then up into Serena's eyes.
