Chapter 19

Sophias POV

I stood in the parking lot watching as Serena disappeared into the distance. I really fucked up. I had never actually seen her look so angry and yet I knew a part of her was hurt and just refused to show it. I turned around wiping the tears off my face and Rachel was standing there looking like she'd just witnessed the whole thing.

"So Serena huh?" she said with a smug look on her face. I rolled my eyes at her.

"What the fuck do you want Rachel" all I wanted to do was go home and curl up in my bed. 

"Never thought you'd be that teacher that's into students but I must say, she's quite the catch. I mean that face with that body, god damn"

I felt anger and jealousy rising in my stomach listening to her talk about Serena. I knew she wasn't mine to claim but the thought of someone else having her the way I do makes me sick. 

"Shut up Rachel I think you've caused enough problems here just go"

The taller girl held her hands up in defense and stepped closer to me. As much as I hated her in this moment she was still undeniably attractive. Her deep blue eyes and slender figure, she was hot, but Serena was beautiful and I needed to fix things. 

"Look I didn't mean to mess things up with your victoria secret girlfriend, I'm sorry, I wouldn't have made a move if I had known. I hope you two work things out, truly." she gave me a sympathetic look and then walked away leaving me standing there. 

I couldn't wait all day to fix this I needed to do it now. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a girl walking out of the front doors with a muscular boy following behind her, Carmen. 

"Carmen!" I shouted and she looked over at me with a confused expression as to why I was shouting her name in the parking lot. She waved the boy off to what looked like his car where he stood waiting while she walked over to me.

"What's up Ms. Ryan" 

"Look I don't have time to explain but I need your help with something"

She furrowed her eyebrow and bit her lip as she contemplated her answer.

"What is it?" she asked her tone unsure.

"I need you to tell me where Serena is. Something happened this morning and I fucked up. Please, Carmen I need to find her."

She looked at me for a couple of seconds before rolling her eyes and sighing, "fine but in return, you're not gonna say anything about me and Collin ditching" she said motioning to the boy stood at the car. 

"fine fine whatever you want just tell me where she is" 

The brunette pulled out her phone and clicked on Serena's contact checking her location. "She's at her house." 

"oh my god thank you," I said as I turned towards the building to gather my belongings

"Hey" Carmen called out bringing my attention back to the tan girl, "don't fuck this up again" 

I gave her a small smile before nodding my head and running inside. 

Once I got all my things and requested a sub for the day, I made my way to my car and started towards Serena's house. I had no idea what I was going to say or if she'd even talk to me. My palms were sweating and my heart sounded like it could beat out of my chest at any minute. 

I pulled up to her house that Carmen had given me the address to. Her car was parked in the driveway and I could see that the kitchen light was on. I got out of the car slowly making my way to the door, before I could talk myself out of it I was knocking.
