Millie's POV-

It's been a day, one day Finn hasn't rang my phone once, he has been spamming me for the past two days. Why did he stop, did he give up, what was he going to say anyway?

Just then a shiver crawled down my spine when I read a text from "Finnie"

Finn- Please please Millie, call me

Millie- Please stop texting me why do you even want to talk to me after I embarrassed the crap out of myself

Finn- R u going to make me freeze to death

Millie- what r u talking about

Finn- I'm outside... you-your house

I ran downstairs and opened the door slowly- "Millie.."

Millie- "yeah that's my name" I said as I brought Finn to my room and let him talk

Finn- so listen t-that day I don't want you to think you embarrassed yourself, n-not at all

Millie- really because it felt like it, i'm so sorry Finn

Finn- w-why are you sorry i should be the one whos sorry i should of just gave you time, i kept bugging you

Millie- I'm also sorry for overreacting, I don't know where it came from I really don't it's just when I saw you with another g-girl I just got a little jealous

Finn- a little?

Millie- don't push it wolfhard

Finn- and you shouldn't have to apologize for that because I know where you're coming from...remember that day a-at Sadie's

Millie- v-vaguely I guess

Finn- Millie...do you remember you asked me if I liked anyone and I talked about my feelings

Millie- y-yeah

Finn- Millie it's you, I was talking about you I wanted to tell you for so long I really like you

Millie- "but why me I mean I'm no special, but you finn- your something special-I-I mean like you know" I shook my head and smacked my face, I just sounded so cringy

Finn- was I? Ya know the one you were talking about t-that day?

Millie- "Finn...how could it not be you, I like you too...a-alot" I looked down I didn't want him to see my red face

Finn- Mill I like you more and that is a fact

Millie- r-really

Finn- "yes really" Finn said as he took my chin to make me face him and said again "really really" then in that second he came closer and closer until I felt his breath on the tip of my nose and then it happened, our lips connected for the first time, of course, everything I hoped it was.

Our lips parted and we stayed face to face, I admired his freckles and deep dark eyes while he stared at my lips. Finally we broke eye contact and moved into a hug he held me in his arms, "millie you are the most beautiful funny kind caring and smartest girl I've ever met and I'm so glad you we are together...finally " "I could say the exact same thing to you finnie" "this is really warm hug I've waited for" I whisper as my face laid on his shoulder. "You really are the girl I've waited for." Finn answered back.

We stayed in a hug whispering back and forth until I had to say goodbye, "Finn..."

"Hm?" he answered, still holding me tight. "I don't want you to go, I mean like I really really don't want you to go, but my dad will be home soon and I'm pretty sure he's not gonna be happy to find a boy in my room" "Yeah you are right I should probably go" "hey but I'll see you tomorrow, first thing, I'll pick you up for school?" "Yes...tomorrow" I smiled and we got up and he held my hand as we walked down the stairs to get to the front door. "Goodbye my Finnie" I said as I got on my tippy toes and held his face with both my hands then gave him a quick peck on the lips, "bye bye my Millie good night" He left and for the first time in three weeks I felt so happy, "he likes me too, oh shit I gotta call Sadie"

"Hey Millie"

"Sadie you're not going to believe me...I talked to Finn"

"And? How'd it go?"

"It went Well, like really really well...he kinda sorta-"

"He kissed you didn't he OMG YESS!!?!" Sadie read my mind

"Yes twice! I'm so happy Sadie like my heart is so happy"

"I'm so happy for you you millie, now we both have boyfriends!"

"Hell yeah!"

I ended the call and hit the bed. All I could do is just keep rethinking about the kiss, the kiss that meant that we are together, the kiss that was the most important...
