Charlie and Calum didn't see each other for a full week. And it wasn't because their date was a total bust or she hated it. It was because Charlie had endured the unthinkable. She became a recluse because of her mother's wrath that was released on her. He was starting to get worried. She didn't answer his calls or texts or snapchats. Charlie disconnected herself. And he felt like it was all his fault. Right now he was throwing rocks at her window again. Charlie was spinning slowly in her swivel chair while listening to Fall Out Boy. The small clicking of rocks made her open her window. "Calmeo Calmeo. Where the hell are you Calmeo?" She laughed at her cheesy remake and zipped her hoodie up so he couldn't see what he didn't need to see.

"Charliette do I have permission to come up."

"Not from my mom. But she isn't here right now." Calum took that as an excuse to scale the side of her house.

"Why have you fallen off the face of the damn planet. Charlie I was really worried about you." Calum rested his hand on her cheek softly and she semi flinched. "Why'd you run away."

"Calum. I'm not allowed to see you anymore. My mom went apeshit."

"Damn we really are Calmeo and Charliette."

"Calum. You can't stay here. I'm not allowed back in 1983 anymore." Charlie shook her head and took a step back from him.

"You're not allowed or you're scared to go against the rules."

"Both." Charlie bit her lip softly.

"Charlie. You and I both know that when I'm around you get better. And now you want to do everything you possibly can to drive me away. You don't want to follow what she says but you are and it's making you sadder and sadder." Calum rested his hand on her cheek again and pulled her waist to his keeping her as close as possible. "And I can't stay away regardless of what your bitch mom says about it. I made a promise to myself to make you feel better."

"You can't snap anyone out of their depression Cal."

"You're right only you can do that. But I'm not going anywhere. Not now. Not ever. Do you understand me?"

Charlie nodded. She recalled what Phoenix had said to her after she finished talking to Calum and after he got bored with asking if he an Charlie had sex yet. That he doesn't like Calum. "Do you know Phoenix?"

"Yeah you mentioned him when we first met." Calum shrugged and jammed both his hands in his pockets.

"No. I mean do you really know each other."

"I know that he doesn't like me. I don't know why though."

"Okay." Charlie took a seat on her bed and Calum sat next to her.

"Charlie. Do you know why I won't leave you?"

"No not really. Everyone leaves me. Liv left me. My parents don't like me."

"I won't leave you. Because I'm in love with you Charlie." Calum looked at Charlie. She looked terrified. He leaned in slowly inch by inch. He didn't want to scare her away. But when he was too close she couldn't get away. And she leaned in as well making their lips touch. Calum kissed her passionately proving his words to her. His hand moved to the back of her neck slowly, deepening the kiss. His lips pushed hers open and slipped his tongue inside massaging over her tongue. Charlie gasped at how good he was at this. Charlie knew that he had a lot of practice before but his technique was beautiful.

Calum shifted as he kissed her and started crawling on top of her as she crawled back not breaking the kiss once. Charlie's head hit her pillow and Calum's hips rolled onto hers getting a little aggressive. His hands went under her shirt running up and down her sides trying to feel as much of her as he can. His lips attached themselves to her neck leaving sloppy kisses up and down as he fiddled with her jeans trying to get them off. "Calum stop." Charlie panted and begged for him to gain some self control. He didn't. All he did was slide his hands up and down her sides again and bit softly on her collarbone. Charlie groaned softly before coming to her senses. "Calum I said stop." She pushed him off of her gently.

"Charlie what's wrong."

"Calum I'm not ready for this. I'm still a virgin. That's why my parents don't want me seeing you anymore."

"Charlie. You really think that I'm using you for sex?" Calum furrowed his eyebrows. He looked hurt. Charlie didn't know what to say. She had thought that about him. But now she sees she was wrong. "Oh my god Charlie Brown you do think that." Calum rested his head on her chest listening to her heart. It hammered around in her chest just begging to pop out. "I wouldn't ever do that to you." He pressed a kiss to Charlie's chest and rested his head there again. Charlie only ran her hands through his hair. "I love you Charlie Brown."

"I love you too Calum Hoodlum."

"When are your parents coming home?"

"Next Monday." That meant they had a week together to be like regular teenagers break rules and go to parties and do everything that they weren't supposed to.
