Calum rushed home straight away after the subliminal phone call from his beloved Charlie. Although it was so not Charlie to act in that manner, Calum didn't want to take any chances. "Charlie. Daddy's home." Calum called out to her as he slammed
the door shut behind him and followed the path to his room in his museum that is a house. He swung back to the door to his room and did a quick scan spotting Charlie sitting in the middle of all of his pillows covered with his messy bed sheets. "You said you have a surprise for me?"

"I sure do." Charlie giggled and looked at Calum with such love in her eyes. It was almost overwhelming to see how much that Charlie loved Calum. "Come here." She pleaded wanting to feel his touch on her warm skin. Being obedient to her, Calum walked to Charlie and joined her on his bed immediately kissing her. The thing was, he didn't even want to take her innocence. To corrupt her like many girls before her. To spoil the angel that was Charlie. Calum didn't even know what would happen between the two lovers. Would this act change everything between them? Calum wasn't sure what would happen, but he knew one thing. He was willing to spend the rest of his life with Charlie.

Calum pushed Charlie's lips open slowly slipping his tongue in her mouth like he has many times before. His hands slid up and down her sides squeezing her curves gently. He loved her with his whole being. He would do anything to protect her. "What's my surprise baby?" Calum's forehead rested on Charlie's as they breathed heavily as if they were running a marathon.

Charlie revealed what she was hiding under the bed sheets. Two grey dauschound puppies wiggled playfully with each other. Calum looked at the love of his life with wide eyes. "You got me puppies?" Charlie couldn't be serious. Why would she get him two puppies? It was nothing important. "Why? Its not like anything important is happening?"

"You don't like them?" Charlie's face twisted with disappointment and sadness.

"I love them. But why?"

"You don't remember what today is?"

"It's Sunday."

Charlie sighed and shook her head in disbelief. "Calum, it's you're birthday."
