CHAPTER 39

Natapos ang competition at nanalo sina Arden at Twilight. Kaya naman nagdesisyon na sila na pumunta sa ibang booths.

They both agreed on the first one. Rollercoaster.

"This is gonna be fun!" Excited na sabi ni Twilight.

Nang makasakay sila ay naghintay na lamang sila na umandar ang rollercoaster.

"Pansin ko atang hindi ka gaanong nagpapakita ng emosyon maliban kung kumanta. Are you always this expressionless?" Twilight

'Geez Twilight. Get a hold of yourself. You're too curious with this guy.' Twilight said to herself in her mind.

"Is there a problem with that?" Arden

"Wala naman. Pero I just wanna know why you don't show much emotions. That's all." Twilight

'Why is this woman asking me that question all of a sudden?' Arden asked to himself in his mind.

"Why do you want to know?" Arden

"I saw your shocked expression noong hinalikan kita nung first day of class. Next ay iyong pagkanta mo sa competition kanina. You are quite a mysterious man." Twilight

"I am not mysterious. I just like my privacy." Arden

"Eh parang ganun na rin yun duh." Twilight

Umandar ang rollercoaster and everytime na nagiging bumababa ang rollercoaster ay hindi maiwasang magulat si Arden samantalang si Twilight naman ay sigaw lang ng sigaw.

Nang matapos ay agad silang pumunta sa lover's boat. Dumaan sila sa school garden.

At dahil ang GCU ay napapalibutan ng maraming puno, they took advantage of decorating some of the trees to guide the magicans who are visitiny the lover's boat.

"How did they managed to place that booth here?" Arden

"May isang lawa na medyo malapit dito. I guess they asked permission." Twilight

They kept on walking hanggang sa narating nila ang booth.

Halos lahat ng makikita mo ay mga magicans na masaya kasama ang boyfriend o girlfriend nila.

May ilan pa ngang nagawang pag-usapan sina Twilight at Arden sa biglaan nilang pagpunta doon.

"We're not even lovers. Why are we here anyway?" Mahinang tanong ni Arden.

"I just want to try it. Bawat school fest merong ganito. I got curious though." Twilight

"So you never had a boyfriend?" Arden

"Obviously. At kung meron man, I would not bring him here." Twilight

"Why?" Arden

"Because I want a fancy date." Proud na sabi ni Twilight

'Walang magtatagal sa babaeng to.' Arden

They booked a boat at nagsimula na itong maglayag. Buti at magic operated ang bangka kaya hindi sila nahihirapan.

The atmosphere in the lake is quite different from the other booths. Instead of a morning sky, some magicans with darkness magic changed the skies in the lake into a beautiful night sky.

"When we get out of here, it will be morning." Arden said with a bored tone.

Twilight bursted out laughing at his remarks.

"Funny ka din noh?" Natatawa niyang sabi.

"Why?" Arden

"Nothing." Nakangiting sabi ni Twilight

"What will happen after this?" Arden

"After this? What do you mean?" Twilight

"I mean after these bracelets won't attract like a magnet." Arden

"Then we'll go back being strangers." Twilight

'Ba't parang ayoko?' Arden

'Why am I thinking that I'm regretting saying that?' Twilight

Dahil sa kanilang pag-iisip ay nagkaroon ng awkward silence sa pagitan nilang dalawa.

Tanging mga kuliglig, tubig at mga mahinang pag-uusap ng magican ang naririnig nila.

"If we'll go back to being strangers after this, then let's make this a little memorable. Don't you think?" Mahinang tanong ni Arden

"You're right. I also don't want to waste the free tickets though." Twilight joked.

After the boat ride, they left the booth and headed outside only to find out na malapit nang mag-sunset.

"We should try the last ride." Twilight

Arden just nodded and they went to the ferris wheel. Medyo natagalan sila dahil madami ang pumila.

Mabuti na rin at medyo malaki ang ferris wheel at madami itong seats na pwedeng ma-occupy. Mahina rin ang takbo nito kung kaya't there is only one round. But that is enough para ma-enjoy ng lahat ang view ng school.

As soon as Arden and Twilight got inside, a lot of magicans were out there gossiping them.

Nang magsimula nang umandar ay agad nagsalita si Twilight.

"Don't be so shocked if the both of us will be the headlines of the school rumors." Twilight joked. Well a half meant joke.

"Well I guess I won't be. After all, I'm with a famous magican." Arden

"You're flattering me." Maarteng sabi ni Twilight sabay paypay sa sarili gamit ang kamay.

They are already halfway there nang bahagyang dumami ang mga magican na nandun sa baba.

"Anong meron sa baba?" Arden habang dumudungaw sa bintana at nakatingin sa mga magican na nandun.

"My friends are there too. I should ask them." Twilight sabay kuha ng phone at tinawagan si Rosa.

"Hey Rosa. I'm at the ferris wheel. Anong meron sa baba at madami atang magican?" Twilight

"Gurl! You should check the school drama blogs!" Rosa

"Ano namang meron?" Twilight

"You should check it for yourself later! But to give you a brief summary, they are waiting for you and Arden!" Rosa

"Wait what? We're not celebrities para pagkaguluhan ng ganyan." Twilight with her normal mataray tone.

"I know! We'll meet you later okay? Enjoy your date!" Rosa sabay baba ng phone.

"So? What was that crowd all about?" Arden

"Nothing. They are just waiting for their turns. And hey look at that sunset." Twilight

Wala pa sila sa pinakatuktok ay nakita na nila ang pinakamagandang view ng sunset.

Twilight then shifted her gaze to Arden who's watching the sunset.

'I never seen a guy so close like this before.' Twilight said to her mind.

Her heart suddenly beat fast. Not knowing the reason. Kaya napatingin ulit siya sa sunset.

Sa pagkakataong yun, si Arden naman ang nakatingin kay Twilight.

'Maganda sana kaso maldita.' Arden said to his mind as well.

His heart was suddenly beating faster then he returned his eyes back at the window looking at the beautiful sunset.

They were already at the highest point of the ferris wheel when they both looked at each other and looked away.

And that was the time when the sunset was over and the bracelets deactivated and vanished.
