The Jade Creature

Chapter 3 - Revolutions

The Jade creature was the leader of the tribe for many years after the events of the attackers, he was honoured by many as the greatest Alpha that had ever lived sort of like today's President Witford, who is considered as the most revolutionary president in American history. He realised that he wasn't aging like normal tribespeople, in fact he had outlived most of the people that saw the events of the attack 30 years ago, in fact he realised he wasn't aging at all. He knew that it was a case of the powers he was granted in that cave. After those 30 years he gave up in his quest to find out what had happened to him as there was no trace of it anywhere to be found. Instead he planned to live out the rest of his days with the tribe but that didn't seem to be coming to an end any time soon. His tribe began to lose people because of disease, and they knew that they were at the brink of extinction. All of the tribespeople had a plan, not to save themselves, but to give up and leave the fate of the tribe in his hands, they knew that he would revive the tribe one day and bring their people back into the world, no matter how many years it would take. Within 3 months the rest of the tribe had died out and he was the last one. He was furious that he couldn't have died with his tribe at the hands of his people, instead he was doomed with immortality. So he decided to set out on a journey, one that would be long and painful, but at this point he had nothing left to lose, since he was immortal and when in his Jade form, indestructible. He wanted to find life, a place from which he could rebuild the tribe, maybe a sanctuary. He was travelling at this point for 2 weeks and he was beginning to lose hope he started to think that he would never find anyone or anywhere to rebuild the tribe, until one day he saw smoke in the sky, and it immediately shot memories back into his head from when he was walking home from the cave and saw the attack, he ran towards it as fast as he could. He made it to a wall, he ran around trying to find a way in, but he heard the screams and knew that there was no time, so he started to punch the wall, and with one punch he made a big dent, with the second he made a hole the size of his fist, and with the third the wall had a hole big enough for his to go inside of the settlement. He looked around and saw the same tribal attackers that had invaded his settlement before and he was furious. He changed to Jade form and pulled out his spear, he ran toward the first attacker he saw and killed him within a second with a stab to the throat, the next with a strike to the head that broke his spear, he saw a big guy charging at him, he gathered all his strength, took a leap into the air and hit him as hard as he could right in the head, his skull crushed into pieces in his hand. He killed as many as he could and freed as many as he could until there was no more death around the camp. The people surrounded him and thanked him, cheered for him and worshiped him like a god for what he did. He was approached by a well dressed man, he looked like the leader of the settlement, he said many things to the Jade Creature most of which he doesn't remember, but he did remember one thing he said, he remembered him saying something about a rogue tribe, a group that were once great fighters and protectors of the land but were corrupted by an unknown cause, he mentioned the name The Descendants. The leader could not offer him a home or a place on the tribe, but he gave him food, water and weapons in a kart. The Jade Creature was grateful and left with a few words that he remembered as if he said them yesterday, he said "I promise you, from this day there will be no more Descendants attacking, nor will there be  any attacks at all, because this land is protected by me, The Jade Creature." He left with none more words and disappeared off into the distance as people cheered one more time with gratitude, The Jade Creature had a new mission now...... kill every Descendant that walks the earth and leave their tribe in ruins. He walked the earth for many more years after that, slaughtering every descendant he walked by, he made a living of off stopping attacks at settlements and towns and became seen as a god by everyone he saved, he did all this without any intent on becoming famous, he did it because he was in grief of his tribe. He was at another settlement on day and he noticed that the descendant were wearing a lot more armour than usual and were dressed more formally. He wondered what was going on until they started shouting out into the open.                     "Green man!!!, green man!!, stop hiding, we know who you are."  Their fates were sealed however, and they suffered no differently than the other descendants that he had ran into, however, it was different this time, the last one that he had on the floor had a few words to say, he doesn't remember what he said very clearly but it was information that The Jade Creature had needed for a long time, he gave him the location of the descendants main settlement in the hopes of being left alive, but the Jade Creature was not in the habit of mercy and stabbed the descendant right in the head and continued on his quest. At this point there were 2 options, the first one would be to attack the main settlement of the descendants and leave them homeless and confused, or defend as many attacks and leave them short of men and then take out the main outpost. He couldn't decide very easily since either one could lead to more innocent people dying. After a whole day of thinking he went with the first one since it would cause the descendants to retreat from every attack as soon as they got the news that their home was destroyed by the famous Jade Creature. He was nervous for the first time in his whole tenure as the Jade Creature, he knew that there was going to be a lot of people and that there was going to be a lot of killing. He marched up to the given location of the base and saw it as soon as he walked up the hill that it was behind. It was massive, it was the biggest base that he had ever seen in his life, but he knew that there was no going back and that he had to get the job done fast otherwise there would be more deaths. His plan was to waltz right in and go on a murder spree, and would go on for as long as it would take to kill every single tribesperson there was in the settlement . He stood at the gate and watched as it opened, hearing the men shouting and preparing to face the Jade Creatures might. However their decision to fight back was not the greatest, because as he turned into his Jade form all the men charging lost most of their confidence, and instead felt fear just by looking at him, knowing what he could do to them. The battle was long and bloody, but every single man that attempted to strike the Jade Creature died a brutal death, waves upon waves of reinforcements came hoping to stop the Jade Creature from him rampage on their tribe. They were battling for so long that it was soon sundown and the men were beginning to lose hope, the Jade Creature knew that they were weary and didn't want to send more men to die, so he halted and offered a proposition. The men stopped attacking and they called upon their leader to negotiate with him, a man walked out of the crowd of fighters and introduced himself as the leader. The Jade Creature offered a cease fire if the men were to pack up and leave to the abandoned mountains where they would live off of their own produce instead of other people's and where they would be out of reach of any surrounding settlement that they could attack. The leader was hesitant but obliged since it was clear that his men had no chance at stopping the Jade Creature, they packed up, took their families and left in a hurry, leaving their old home and the dead body's of their brothers behind. The Jade Creatures quest was now complete, he had no other thing to live for, since it was clear that he wasn't going to age out of existence he decided to keep wondering on, hoping that one day he could revive his own tribe and bring back the people that he lost. All the surrounding settlements spread the word about the Jade Creature fast and he from then on was known as the saviour of the land by the surrounding settlements.
