All of the ships that were built around the world had made it out, and humanity survived. The poodle watched from the windows as the earths atmosphere caught on fire, including the Jade creature and the Order of Jade.
"There goes our home." Curtis said no taking his eyes off of the burning planet.
The Jade creature wanted to make a speech to the people. He wanted to give them a sign of hope. A reason to keep going. The walked to the control room of his ship, and broadcasted it across all the transports, to all the people.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we have done it, humanity can now go on, I will always be here to help you, and so will my friends." The jade creature announced as he looked at the Order of Jade. "It's up to us now to continue, I'm sure we will find a new home soon, and when we do I'm sure that life will be just as great as it was on earth, won't it?" He joked. "No please, ladies and gentlemen, enjoy your time on these ships, and live your days as if they were the last, because now you are safe from them, have a good night my friends, you deserve it." The jade creature said to the camera and everyone on every ship cheered for him, and threw their hat up into the air in gratitude. The Jade creature then spoke to the men.
"Gentlemen, you have helped me through the toughest times, and you have been better friends that I have ever deserved, from now on, I am in your debt, as you have saved my life." The Jade creature said to the men as he bowed his head in honour. Valor then spoke to him.
"You have nothing to thank us for, you brought us together, and we saved countless lives because of you, and if it weren't for you, we wouldn't get any of the credit for saving humanity, would we boys?" Valor said to the Jade creature then cheering at the other men.
"Never." Bjorik laughed.
"Absolutely." Kirk added.
"It's unbelievable." Curtis joked."And if it weren't for you, we would have died with the kingdom, and lived meaningless lives, been nothing but ticking time bombs ready to explode at any moment, to that we owe you dearly." Curtis thanked the Jade creature."And if it weren't for you, I would still be an old deadbeat Viking, with nothing to live for, only booze." Bjorik finished with a joke and men men laughed.
"We gentlemen, who's up for a drink!!?" Jade creature asked, cheering. And then walked away to the canteen.
The Jade creature now had another task, to keep humanity safe at all costs. His past was now dead, and he could live on, and he had plenty of time to do it while on the ship, no wars to fight on there.
From a normal Hunter-gatherer, to a mighty saviour and god. He lived a life most people would dream to live, it had its ups and downs, but it was a thing of beauty.
And it went on from there, as the next step in history, and he'd be there to see it all, alongside his friends. With no intention of death...........
