The Jade creature was set to be broadcasted on live television, this was his chance to reveal to the world what was going to happen and how they could save themselves.
"Alright, your on in 2 minutes." Said one of the producers, as the Jade creature sat down next to the host of the show he was on. He hoped that the people would believe him and not take what he was saying as a joke, because if they did, he would have to accept the end of humanity and die with it, rather than die saving it.
And all of a sudden as the Jade creature started to look around in his chair the producers started counting down and the host began talking.
"Welcome back ladies and gentlemen my name is George Welling and I am joined here today with 'the Jade creature' as he calls himself." The host said as he gave the Jade creature a handshake. "So, my friend, tell me your story, why are you here today, what is it you wanted to say to the country." George asked.
"Well George, I was granted my powers by an unknown entity that I tried to track down, when it found me, it told me the world would end in a few million years, I consulted some spiritual elders about what had happened and they told me that he was wrong." The Jade creature explained.
The hosts face was no longer cheerful like he was at the start, the host face then turned into what looked like a scared look. He gathered himself together and asked the jade creature another question.
"What...what do you mean he was wrong." He asked, most likely hoping the Jade creature had some good news.
"He said it would end in less than 700 years, and he transported me here, 70 years away from the end." The Jade creature broke to the host, as he heard the crew gasp in fear behind the set, he could almost hear the voices of the people watching at home, begging that what he had said wasn't true.
"How do we know you aren't just a fraud, because there really isn't any evidence to suggest that you aren't just a......" The host tried to say before he was shocked as to what he was looking at. The Jade creature turned into his Jade form and the host was speechless, and so were the camera crew and the producers. It looked like things had finally gone the Jade creatures way.
"Do you have.... anything else you would like to say." The host asked desperately trying to hold himself together. As the Jade creature stood up and walked over to the camera.
"Ladies and gentlemen, you have to start preparing now, the world will end and everything humanity had lived for will have been for nothing, focus as much time into finding a way off of this planet and finding a new home, the futures life depends on it. I will do whatever I can to make sure it's all safe, with my battle expertise and my ability on the field, I will do whatever it takes to save humanity." And with that the Jade creature was done, he had people asking the right questions, at the right time, it was now a case of waiting.
