The Jade Creature

Chapter 11 - An Eye for an Eye

The Jade creature lit one of the towers on fire and the men came charging down the hill towards the fortress, you could hear the samurais confusion inside as to what had happened, it looked like the intelligence one of the generals had received had been false and the samurai weren't prepared for the attack at all.

The men the Jade creature was with wanted to kill the leader, however the Jade creature protested against this.

"This isn't the time to show off, we had a job to do and we did it, follow your orders, we need to get down there and help them." The Jade creature ordered.

However the men didn't believe in what he said , soon after he said that 2 warriors came up behind them  and were ready to fight. The men yelled in Japanese.

"Guard, up!" The Jade creature shouted, but the men didn't listen and the ran off leaving the jade creature to fight alone, the warriors weren't match for him of course and he took them both out without breaking a sweat, but the Jade creature was furious that the men disobeyed orders like that.

"If they want to play it like that..... they'll get what's coming to them." He said to himself as he jumped down and moved to the main battle.

"Are you alright." The Jade creature asked Bjorik.

"Yeah I'm fine, these men you brought are good at what they do." Said Bjorik.

"Valor, Kirin and Curtis disobeyed orders, they ran off somewhere." The Jade creature explained.

"Their either dead or trying to be hero's, come on let's kill these pigs." Bjorik shouted

When he said this the Jade creature quickly ran through all the samurai and went looking for his team, he killed multiple fighters along the way and had more blood on him that he had ever had before.

He heard a horn, a deep rumbling horn, it was obvious that it wasn't from us men because had never heard it before, it was clear that it belonged to the samurai. The Jade creature didn't know what it meant, and he was afraid that he would find out something that he wouldn't want to find out.

"KATANAS!!" One of the men shouted.

Katanas were the greatest warriors of the samurai, named after the weapons they used, they were known for their quick manoeuvres. However they were no match for the Jade creature, and he knew that. He ran down to the area of fighting.

"Get back to work, I'll deal with these."

The men continued to fight leaving the Jade creature and the 5 katanas to fight. All of them jumped at him at once and he quickly blocked their attacks, as one fell to the floor he drove his spear into the lone katanas throat and turned around to block the next attack, as he blocked it he delivered a kick to the mid section and delivered a stab to the head. His spear got stuck however and he was left with nothing but his own powers. The last 3 men came at him, he pushed one of them back leaving him incapacitated on the floor, while he grabbed the other 2 by the throats and held them up above the ground, showcasing his incredible strength, after which he snapped their necks in the air. The last one was still laying I. The floor, but just as he managed to pull himself together, he saw the Jade creatures boot before it landed right on his face, crushing his skull like a watermelon.

"That'll teach them." The Jade creature said while looking at their pathetic corpses.

After that, there came a cloud of arrows coming towards the men, they had no shields and the Jade creature shouted at the top of his lungs for the men to take cover, some made it, but the Jade creature stood and watched helplessly as so many of his men died in front of him, it was like he was watching it all in slow motion, one by one the arrows stuck them. A huge swarm of samurai soldiers came down and left the men defenceless. They had no chance but to surrender.

"Lower your weopons." The Jade Creature calmly ordered. As the men did as he said. And from the crowd came a tall overweight samurai warrior, that walked up to and looked up to the Jade creature.

"Who are you." He said with in his Japanese accent.

The Jade creature stood there silent. The warrior took one of the Jade creatures soldiers and killed him with a stab to the throat

"NO!!." The Jade creature yelled in the agony of seeing another one of his men die.

The warrior walked up to him again.

"This is what will happen, if you won't give me an answer, understood." He asked.

"Yes." The Jade creature said with anger passing through his words.

"Good.... now, where were we?." The warrior said as an an arrow flew right through his back and out his chest. The warrior fell to the ground with his last breath of air. And from the tops of the buildings Valor, Kirin and Curtis appeared with many archers and swordsmen, who looked like prisoners of the samurai.

One after the other the men on the ground died and the Jade creatures men picked their weapons back up and ran into battle.

"ATTACK!!."Bjorik yelled, as the men waisted no time in charging at the samurai. The archers picked them off one after the other, and the men were more determined than ever to kill the ground soldiers.

Soon, the battle was over, and the men began to cheer.

"VALHALLA!!!." All the Vikings shouted in victory. As the Jade creature went and spoke to his team.

"So this is what you did." The Jade creature said looking down on the team.

"Yes sir, I know we...." Valor tried to say before the Jade creature interrupted.

"Sshh, you did saved many men today, you are hero's, Valor, Kirin, Curtis, I name you, Hero's of our kingdom, we'll put togather a ceremony for what you did today.

"Thank you sir" all of the men said.

The men returned back to the kingdom with the Vikings as their guests and the ceremony began with Valor, Kirin and Curtis walking down the carpet to meet the generals, the Jade creature and Bjorik.

"I General Swift, the Jade creature and commander Bjorik, hereby name you captains in the Kingdoms army, for you work in the battle against the samurai, in saving the lives of many men, congratulations." The general recited as the kingdom cheered.

The Jade creature had to break the news to Glamdrog that the battle was over, he ran to his house and opened his door.

"Glamdrog, it's done we...." the Jade creature said swiftly before seeing that there as no one there except a not on his table. The Jade creature picked up the note.

"YOU ARE A FOOL" the note said. What it meant was obvious and the Jade creature crumpled it in his hands in anger.

"I'll make you pay, if it's the last thing I do." The Jade creature said with nothing but pure anger.

And the story he thought was over, had to continue.
