The Jade creature picked up a rocket launcher, and a smile appeared on his face. He found the river, it was amazing, it was a view he had never quite seen before, the only thing that ever looked this aesthetically pleasing was the land he lived in back when he was part of his tribe. Memories were brought back, but it wasn't a time to sit and fade, he had a job to do.
He followed the river as far as it went, and he found the base. He could see the guards on the towers holding rifles, with grenades strapped to their wastes.
"Let's give these monsters what's coming tho them." As he pulled out the rocket launcher and aimed for the tower.
"Aaaannd......" he fired.
And the tower collapsed, the screams of the soldiers could be heard as they fell to their deaths.
The camp was not yet destroyed, and the Jade creature proceeded to move further down the lake and closer to the base. He aimed at another tower he could see and fired another rocket at it, it collapsed and the men on it fell.
"Boom." The Jade creature joked.
He wanted more though, and he ran right up to the base wall and broke through, he wanted to fire a rocket from within and execute some internal damage. He snuck past the guards that were on alert for attackers.
He aimed for the centre of the camp, there was what looked like a supply stash there in the middle, which the guards were probably guarding.
He aimed the rocket launcher and.......blew it up.
"That'll teach them." The Jade creature said to himself, as he exited the base without being noticed by anyone.
He looked at his rocket launcher.
"Well old friend, looks like this is where we part ways, good knowing you." The Jade creature said jokingly to the rocket launcher, dropping it on the ground as he walked back up the river and proceeded to the transports. He spoke to the soldier who was driving the vehicle.
"I need to speak to the commanding officer." The Jade creature ordered as the soldier pulled out his phone and called him. The commander answered and the soldier gave the phone to the Jade creature. The Jade creature didn't know what he was looking at and he questioned.
"What is this, some sort of metal?" The jade creature asked as he heard the commanders voice come out of the phone.
"Hey it's me, this a phone, it's how people communicate these days, your lucky, most people have to be at home to use these. What is it you wanted to tell me about?" The commander asked.
"I destroyed the terrorist base, are there any more orders you require from me." The Jade creature asked.
"Yes, there's another camp not too far from here follow the smoke beyond The Great Forrest you'll find it there, they have captured multiple hostages, I need you to go over here and free them if you can, it'll be a stepping stone for your reputation." The commander said, to the Jade creatures disgust.
"I'm not doing this for the reputation, those are people's lives, this isn't for personal gain." The Jade creature explained before putting the home away.
"Looks like we have work to do......" the Jade creature said to the soldier.
And the mission continued......
