The Jade creature saw himself as nothing, a speck of dust in the wind, no purpose, no need to exist. He was cursed by the devil himself to immortality and had no way of dying other than killing himself, of course he couldn't do that because if he killed himself he would just go to hell. He left Jerusalem and became the wanderer he wanted to stop being, but he didn't care anymore. He couldn't protect Jesus anymore, and he had no place in Jerusalem. Maybe he could find solitude somewhere else for a while, maybe the end of the world could kill him, it was at this point the only thing he could do to hope to see his tribe again. He thought he would be wandering around the world for a while before he found a decent home to live in, he didn't want to fight anymore, he didn't want to be someone else's slave for another hundred years. He passed through many settlements through a couple of years of travelling, he learned a few traditions and a couple languages. One day he found a small village, it was settled next to a waterfall, it only had about 300 people living there which was nothing compared to The Roman Empire. The Jade creature arrived there, introduced himself and eventually had a place with the villagers. He lived a quiet life for a long time, and worked as the same job he worked as with his tribe thousands of years ago, a hunter gatherer. The role was enough for him and it didn't include any reasonless killing and it was something he was relatively familiar with. The people accepted him and saw him as one of them, they had no reason not to. The Jade creature took to teaching, he wanted other people to know how to keep themselves safe and to not have to rely on him to protect them. He taught them all of his fighting techniques and his survival abilities for a long time and built a team of fighters with the same skill that he had acquired through his years. The Jade creature took great satisfaction in what he had done and knew that he could finally live out his days in peace. The Jade creature went to his home, and laid down on his bed, knowing that tomorrow would not bring anymore killing. Over the course of the next couple years the Jade creature saw the group of people grow larger and larger, more homes were built, more markets were set up, more farmers were needed to feed the population, he watched as the small village he had been living in turn into a whole new civilisation. The village he once new turned into a kingdom. The Jade creature was a high ranking individual in the village against his will, the people knew that he could protect them against a lot of things, the Jade creature both respected this and resented this, because he was tired of endless combat. The people however didn't have much war and the Jade creature didn't have to do much other than to live his life. The people however believed that the Jade creature would be their last hope, something the Jade creature also greatly hated. The kingdom had evolved so much the many years that the Jade creature lived there, to the point that the Jade creature didn't know where he was anymore, at this point he hadn't of been in a battle in over 100 years, he was glad that he didn't have to fight anymore. One day the Jade creature was a home, when he got called in by the council, because there was a man that turned up at the front gates claiming that he was a time traveler, and that he was here with a fire warning. The Jade creature rushed to the gate and saw the man speaking to the guards, he walked up to him and looked him dead in the eyes.
"Why are you here? We do not want any trouble with surrounding settlements" the Jade creature asked with great seriousness.
"I'm not from any kingdom. My name is Glamdrog, I am from the future. In my world there is nothing but corruption and death, I was sent here by accident by the enemy and it's given me the opportunity to try and solve the world's problems. May we please speak inside, there is much to discuss?"The Jade creature invites him in asking as he was bound and escorted by multiple guards to ensure the people's safety. They took him in, the Jade creature very pessimistic about it because how could there be condone from the future here, there wasn't even a thought about the possibility that there could be time travel, however he was intrigued because if there was a future, then maybe he could return to it with him and see what the world turns into. They took Glamdrog inside and sat him in a chair where they tied him up and awaited to evaluate him. The interviewer walked in and sat down and told him to start talking.
"In my world, there is war, there is suffering, there is bloodshed. It is all caused by a man called Bloodhound, a technological anomaly from another world, he can absorb the energy in people and use it to create minions, he also has many other abilities including teleportation and increasingly strength, the world searched for a man, one that was older and stronger than any of them, one that had seen more battle than any man in all of existence, they said he could turn himself into an indestructible Jade material."
