Chapter 5: Thunder storms.

Dipper's POV

I don't know when Bill left. I didn't care. I feel sick and I'm tired. I crawl under the covers of my bed and let sleep take me.

Time Skip

(here is where you press the video) What was that? I look outside the window. A flash of lightning. I immediately go under my covers. "Mabel where are you when I need you?" I've been afraid of storms since I was ten. I know I'm sixteen but I have a good reason. Mabel always comforts me, but since she's gone... (thunder clap) I jump under my covers. I am not going to sleep if I'm alone, and if I do, nightmares will keep me up. I get up, and walk out my door. I go to the right and knock on the door. I wait a few seconds when Bill opens the door.

Bill's POV

What did Pine Tree need that it couldn't wait till morning. I rub my eyes. "What you need Pine Tree?" He looked nervous.

"I um... I-I'm af-afraid of of um the lightning st-storm. So-so do you think that we can have a sleepover?" Oh my god he is so fricken cute. Did I just say that? Don't judge me.

"Yeah, yeah sure." I say. Hey the guy's scared, I can relate. I sit on the bed and pat the spot next to me. He sits next to me. "So, you wanna tell me why you're scared? Is it cause of the noise or is it cause of something else?" Pine Tree looks down. "You don't have to answer me if you don't want to," I say, not wanting to offend him "I was just curious."

"No, it's okay it's just a bit of a touchy topic for me." he says looking at me. Well shist. I just nod in response. He takes a breath. "Well, when I was ten, I lived in California. I knew Gravity Falls but only was here for summer. Me Mabel and our parents were driving home from a Red Robins. There was a storm when we were coming home so we were going a little fast to get there. There was a flash of lighting on our car and my dad swerved and we crashed. I passed out and I woke up in a hospital. The doctor said I was in a crash and that Mabel and I had been lucky cause I only had scratches and bruises and that my sister had all the things that I had but also a broken arm. But that was only cause we were in the back. I asked where my sister was and she pointed to the bed next to me." he paused and took a breath, he looked like he was going to cry.

"You don't have to continue, if you don't want to." I tell him.

"No it's fine. She said that my parents were in surgery then she said that they had the best doing the procedures. After that I fell asleep. I woke up and Mabel was sitting in a chair next to me. She had been crying. I asked her why she was crying and she didn't answer. She just hugged me tightly. She said our parents had died an hour earlier. Our great uncles came and we were going to live with them and I guess I'm sorta glad that I was able to survive but I would've rather have given my life just so my sister didn't have to leave California and her friends. And now so she wouldn't have lost her," he starts to cry, a lot. I immediately brought him into a tight hug. He cried into my shoulder.

"It's alright, it's alright."

He kept saying "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." over and over again when he did nothing wrong. This wasn't his fault.

"It's alright, you did nothing Dipper. It's not your fault." He looks up at me.

"You you called me D-dipper." I nod.

"Yeah and?" I don't know why he just stopped crying because I said his name, but if he stops crying, whatever. He just hugged me tighter.

"Thank you. Sorry to be such a priss."

"No, you're good. I'm just glad you stopped crying." That's when I heard a light snore. Pine Tree fell asleep. I shake my head. "Wow, just gonna fall asleep on the guy who just comforted you. Just dam. I started to shift towards the head of the bed and I lay down, Pin Tree's still hugging me. I decided not to wake him so I just put the blanket over us and I hugged him tightly. "Night Pine Tree."

hey guys! Hope everyone's okay. Do you guys like long chapters or them short. Right now I'm binge watching Stranger Things with my aunt cause she's never has watched it! I also just experienced my first blizzard. They actually put them upside down. My sister and I kept putting them upside down  on our way back to her house. So, how's your guys' life? Keep on keepin' odd everybody.
