Zombie attack (a billdip au)

Chapter 8: The Mall.

Bill's POV

After we ate breakfast, Dipper and I went up to our rooms to change. I opened my closet and got my clothes out. I got changed and started to close the door when a picture frame fell out. I pick it up, and start to cry. It was a photo of me and Will before this whole thing happened. I didn't want to go to the mall, but I have to, for my team. The door opened.

"Hey Bill, you ready?" Shist! I quickly wipe my face and act normal.

"Yeah, Pine Tree. I'm ready."

"Cool, lets go quick." I followed Pine Tree out the door, thankful that he didn't notice my eyes. P gives us a list of supplies and tells us to be back in the next two hours or she'll send a team out to get us. I grab my gun and hand Pine Tree a spear.

"Where the heck did you get this?" he asked

"I made it, duh." He just rolls his eyes at me.

"Come on Dorito, let's go." I smirk showing him the way to the mall. We go down an empty alleyway and I find the ladder.

"Come on, we'll have to go on the rooftop now since the way there is littered with zombies." I climb the ladder and Pine Tree follows me. When we get on the rooftop, I go to the other side of the building. I can't say how many times I've come here and almost jumped.

"Bill, what are you doing." Pine Tree snaps me out of it.

"It's nothing, come on, I'll show you how to cross."

Dipper's POV

I was worried for Bill. I wondered if I should ask him. I'll ask him later. Bill grabbed a long piece of wood and laid it down across the two buildings.

"This is how we're crossing." He's crazy.

"You're crazy!" he starts to walk across the wood.

"I know! Come on! You wanted to come!" I huff out a sigh. I start to walk on the piece of wood. I made it across, but only because Bill caught me when I fell. We repeated that for several more buildings.

When we got to the Mall I shuddered, Grunkle Stan and Great Uncle Ford died here. Bill nudges me slightly.

"Hey, you good?" I look at him.

"Yeah, I'm good, lets go." We go onto the roof of the mall and climb down the stairs. Bill stops at the door.

"Get your spear ready." he says, I nod. He opens the door and there are no zombies, yet. "Come on." we make our way to the middle of the mall. We, well, Bill finds a map of the building. "Okay just up there is the CVS that should have all the supplies." We start to get over to the CVS, which is crowded by Zombies, yay.

"Shist, what are we going to do?"

"I don't know." P's going to kill us. I look around. I point over towards the CVS.

"You see at the entrance that there's the gate thing to keep criminals out?" Bill nods. "Well it's keeping out the zombies, we can go through the back way and get what we need." he looks at me impressed.

"Dam Pine Tree. Good Job." I shrug.

"It's what I do."
