Chapter 26: Red-Stripes

 Dipper's POV

"Pine Tree?" I hummed a response. "We have to get up now." I groaned tightening my grip around Bill.

"Five more minutes." I mumbled.

"You said that five minutes ago Pine Tree. Come on I'm hungry."

"Fine." I let go of Bill and we got untangled from the blanket. Bill and I grabbed jackets as our original ones were still wet. I grabbed my abandoned hat from the nightstand and we walked out the door. I yawned as we walked down the stairs. Bill wrapped an arm around me and smiled. I smiled back and we found Pyronica at our usual table along with Leo and Ally. Leo was drawing in the notebook Pyronica gave him with Ally looking over his shoulder.

"Hey you two glad you could join us," I rolled my eyes as we sat down.

"Hush it."

"So, what are we having for lunch?" Bill asked.

"We got dehydrated fruit, and hydrated fruit." Pyronica said passing us a bowl with fruit and a plate with the dehydrated fruit. "We're trying to save other stuff for now." We nodded and grabbed some food.

"Whatcha drawing Leo?" Leo showed me his page. It was a drawing of some trees and flowers. "I like it." I said handing him his notebook back. Leo smiled and continued drawing. I laid my head on Bill's shoulder and took bite out of a dried apple slice.

"Don't fall asleep on me now," Bill said softly to me.

"No promises." We finished eating and helped Pyronica clean up the dining room.

"Okay you two, go grab some weapons and then walk the grounds, I'll come get you when it's time for dinner." We nodded and went to the training room to grab my spear and Bill's gun.

"Hey Dipper!"

"Hey Evan," I said smiling. "It's been a minute." I hugged him tightly. "Where've you been man?" He hugged me back.

"Around, what about you?" we let go of each other.

"With Bill and the kids."

"Eight-Ball!" Bill yelled from behind us. Evan smiled and turned facing Bill.

"Hey Dorito!" Bill came over to us smiling widely. "Long time no see." They hugged for a minute before parting.

"It's been maybe a week calm down." Evan chuckled.

"What brings you two up here?"

"We're about to watch the grounds, we're grabbing our weapons." Evan nodded.

"Well grab me when your done yeah?" We smiled and nodded before parting ways. Bill passed me my spear and grabbed his gun loading it. We said goodbye to Evan and left. Bill and I went outside. There was still snow on the ground, more fell from the sky but it had slowed down.

Bill smiled widely when he saw the snow, god he looked adorable. There were other people around, I saw Wendy and Jason, and some others that I didn't know. Bill grabbed my hand and we started walking.

~Time Skip~

"Where is he?" I heard someone yell.

"Just calm down and-" whoever was talking got interrupted by the person screaming again.

"Where is he?" We ran towards the yelling, there was a person, couldn't have been more than a few years younger than us, they were yelling asking where someone was over and over. A few others had surrounded them trying to calm them down. When they saw Bill and I, they pointed a finger at Bill.
